Great product with immediate and awesome customer service
Awesome product for my 30 amp RV. Prior to installation, my generator/inverter would shut down when the a/c turned on. My a/c unit would also throw the breaker when I plugged it into the house 120v-20amp outlet. We have no problems whatsoever now. Works as advertised. Easy starts and reduced amperage usage. We did have to call customer service for assistance because not every a/c unit is the same. That assistance was exceptional. Because I was hesitant to make a mistake, the service rep even used FaceTime and gave us step by step instructions to help during the installation. We appreciated the personal attention given to make sure we were able to use their product. Very happy with the product and will add one of these for each of our home units.

Easy to FIY install, great support if any questions.
Was easy to install on 12 year old Dometic AC units. Worked great on both units. Only one issue- compressor on one ac was drawing normal 12-13 amps before install and 17 amps after. Removing easy start unit didn't change amp draw, still high. Reinstalled the Easy-Start and amp draw remained high. Possible the compressor is about to fail. Fortunately it’s simple to remove the Easy-Start and reinstall on a new unit, but in the meantime that AC seems to be running well.

good unit
Complete kit and easy to install in my Furrion air conditioner. It has worked well even on a small Honda generator.

RV Trip Prep and Cleanup Is Now A Cool Breeze!
This EasyStart Breeze 399 is great. I was trying to run the RV's AC using a 10 gauge extension cord from a 15-amp outlet in the garage, as we couldn't cool the RV down with our MaxxAir roof vent fan when parked in front of the house for setup on a hat day. Running the AC would trip the 15-amp breaker from time to time. After installing the EasyStart on our Coleman Mach 3 AC unit, we can now run the AC all day without tripping the breaker. I watched a video on how to install before attempting, so I knew what to expect when following the detailed instructions. Installation was easy and fast thanks to the included install kit with the Wago quick connectors. I was done in about 15-20 minutes which included the time taken to get all the tools needed for the installation. I am confident that I could also power this AC unit with my 4500W invertor generator with 30-amp RV outlet if needed. This will be one of the first upgrades to our new RV when we move from a TT to a 5th, adding one to each AC unit. There are cheaper knockoffs out there, but I wanted a trusted name that I could count on. My wife's happiness and comfort made the purchase well worth the money the first time we used it!

Works as advertised
Seems to be doing its job it's not kicking the breakers anymore when the AC fires up.

Solving surge current problems…
Product was exactly as described. Easy installation, by a diy’er like me. I am just handy, but no professional by any means. Now I am able to run the ac + all other loads off of my 5000w AOI inverter on my rv. I would highly recommend if you are having a problem with the surge current either popping a fuse, or causing a overcurrent protection.

Allows a smaller inverter to run the RV's AC unit!
I added an EasyStart to an RV AC unit (Furrion) that I could not start with my 2000 Watt inverter. The start up current draw was more than the inverter could handle. After a quick install [hardest part was making the choice to cut one wire] it worked perfectly on the first try. The inverter had no issue running the AC unit with the EasyStart. It slowly comes on and the inverter could handle the lower starting load.

Micro Air Soft Start install is a breeze.
This was the 3rd MA Soft Start install I have done. This install was on a new AC unit. I installed it with the AC unit on the tailgate of my truck before the install guys hoisted the AC unit onto the RV roof. Because it was a new install it went swell. My prior experience was with old AC units on the roof of my RV. Not fun. The instructions I downloaded and printed out (color not B & W) which I highly recommend. I DID NOT REMOVE THE START CAPACITOR as directed in the instructions for my unit. I did remove the wires connecting it to the run capacitor. I suggest getting a few more "tie wraps" to secure the wires. Also the included short screws I couldn't use as they were too short. I used longer screws to secure the MA Soft Start unit as well as the double sided foam tape (included). I liked the new connectors that were included as they allowed a more secure and positive electric connection when splicing the wires. Overall I took my time and it took about 90 minutes to do the job by myself. Previously I found it beneficial to have someone on the ground to hand me tools/supplies while I worked on the RV roof.
