I love everything about this item! I didn't think I'd use it as much as I do but I was WRONG. I use an iPad 4 mini with a leather, fold-over case on it and it fits in the device holder perfectly! I use it in every single room of the house. The gooseneck is very sturdy and it doesn't require much effort at all to move it from room to room. It's easier to tighten and loosen the clamp than opening a soda bottle, plus, it has padding in the bracket mount clamp and device holder so it doesn't damage your device or mounting surface. If you're like me and want to watch your favorite shows but have to be in the kitchen cooking/cleaning or just want to be hands free, grab one for yourself and you'll be grateful you did. I'd definitely purchase again but it's so durable that I doubt I'll have to.

The arm its self is really stiff, which means that it stays in place. The clamp for the mount could be better since the arm is so hard to move. Overall it's a decent product, hoping in will break in a bit.An update on this product: customer service is outstanding, they contacted me about my concerns, went above and beyond to address the issue, the clamp is still isn't as good as I would like, but I found an easy fix, simply put a c-clamp over it. I gave them another star, it is really a good product.

This holds my daughter's Tablet 7 just perfectly. It will not hold her tablet with the rubber case on though. The arm is very hard to move but thankfully she wanted it for one spot only. I dont think this is made to be repositioned daily. The clamp seems durable, strong and non damaging so far. This holder will also work very well as a selfie stick for a tablet. The arm length is perfect and not too long at all.

It does what its supposed to, but as the seller warns, it is very stiff and takes effort to adjust.I use this in the bed of my camper van to hold my tablet like a TV.

Waste of money. I'm really disappointed in this because it is impossible to reposition or even position nicely in the first place. I got this so that I could read while lying in bed--both in the morning when I'm sitting up and at night when I'm laying down before I go to sleep. However, in order to even get this holder to position my phone correctly, I have to struggle for at least 5 minutes to move it because the arm is so incredibly stiff. In addition in order to make it possible to reposition at all, I have to unclamp it because it's impossible to move it while it is clamped without having the clamp come off. Finally it does not hold the phone at all in the extended position so even after I spent all of that time positioning it so that I can read it while I'm sitting in bed, the entire thing slowly pivots down. It might be useful if you like to have an ugly white plastic thing always present in the same place in your room, such as may be at a desk or you'll always be in the same position, and also such that you have to curl the arm as shown in the product photo. It won't work when it's fully extended.

I recived my table clamp today!I watch YouTube videos on my cell phone or tablet, sometimes I need to be handsfree.The clamp holds strong to my work area, it doesn't take up but a 2 inch spot.The Flexible Long Arm Gooseneck can be bent in any direction, the Grip that holds your phone or tablet holds tight also. And my daughter uses it to hold her makeup mirror.Materials product are made of, are good quality, unlike some of the stuff I'v purchased from China whick broke while I was putting it together.

the construction of this thing is good. probably great. It's strong, holds any tablet or phone I've put into it, but doesn't like to stay clamped. Whenever I try to adjust the angle, the clamp will twist a little, and every couple of weeks it will pop off whatever it's attached to. There's probably a trick I'm not seeing to get it to stay, but for my use of this it wasn't worth the purchase.

Got this for my sister for Xmas. She had a little trouble getting the neck to straighten out and fit it on her bed but it holds her foll size iPad well for watching Netflix, she uses it daily and loves it
