Pouring Shield for KitchenAid- Splash Guard with Removable Pouring Chute for KitchenAid 5.5-7 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer

Fits my mixer great, it's easy to clean. Only thing is you must put it on after the bowl is raised as the attachment don't fit through the opening, which is no problem at all since nothing splashes out of the bowl.

Step 1: Put a stirring attachment (paddle, whisk, or dough hook) in place and raise the bowl. Step 2: Put the larger piece of the splash shield on top of the raised bowl. Step 3: Click the smaller piece into the slots for it on the larger piece. This is easy to do. The shield is very sturdy when assembled. I especially like the high, wide opening for adding ingredients. I’m gifting one of these splash shields to our granddaughter for her KitchenAid stand mixer we gave her a few years ago.

We have a 6 qt size KitchenAid mixer with the stainless steel flare edge bowl. Most of the splash shield are not compatible with this type of bowls. This one sits well enough that it would work for mine. Very happy with the purchase

I am sure it would have been great but I got the wrong size as a gift for a bride and it was too big for her mixer and it was too late to return it.

It is nice to have to keep the dry ingredients from coming out of the bowl, but I feel like it is just as easy to make a mess putting ingredients into the spout. Plus it sticks to the open area, which I usually have to shake off

This splash guard is sooo much better than the original version. It covers the whole bowl and cuts down on flour splashes big time. I used it for finishing up my cookies for Christmas. It is easy to assemble and disassemble. You still don't want to put much more than a half cup of flour at a time.

Works as advertised, definitely keeps the flour dust contained.

I battled trying to keep the shield on the mixer. It just sits on top of the bowl and if the dough comes to the top of the bowl it knocks the shield off. It needs to be able to latch onto the bowl somehow.
