Electric guitar
This guitar was a great gift for a friends son. It came well packaged and was beautifully made and the quality and sound were spot on! Great find and buy!

Not good, not even for a beginner.
Auxiliary broken within a month and a half. Could no longer use with amp. Very cheaply made

Cool looking guitar, with everything you should need to get started.
I purchased this set as I was looking for a cheap, introductory electric to practice on. I'll begin by saying that I'm no musician by any stretch. That said, I found the initial tuning to be pretty difficult, but once it was tuned it takes very little adjustment before each practice. I'm guessing this is because they ship the strings to be fairly loose, then the neck is bowed a little with each tightening. Again, not a musician, so I could be completely off base. The amp could be a little more clear, but it's not bad at all. I really like the look of the guitar. I got the grey one, and it looks just as it does in the pictures. All in all, I think this is a great value for a beginner, like me, who isn't certain just how much they're going to take to the guitar. If that's you, then you won't be disappointed.

A very good deal
Once it was tuned, it was perfect. The strap is small so maybe buy a different one (I got the D'Addario Accessories Leather Guitar Strap and it's very nice). I also bought a box of picks since, well, you need them. Overall I'm very happy with it.

The guitar is like a 500 epiphone, with a familiar headstock
Very nicely done, I think I'm done looking for a cheap electric guitar, this guitar feels amazing, and it's not a hard maple fretboard it's a really nice wood! You will love this guitar!

Junk
Why did you pick this product vs others?: because of decent reviews which they must have gotten lucky this is junk 3 of the tuners are so loose you cant even tune ut proper toggle switch is loose and spins in circles amp half the knobs barely turn feels like your going to break them

Most Affordable Set-Neck LP
*Copied from Sunburst Listing* I’ve had a few Les Paul guitars and this is by far one of the most affordable ones I’ve ever come across. For only around $180, this kit comes with everything a beginner guitarist needs, including a small amplifier, cable, strap, clip-on tuner, truss rod wrench, picks, gig bag, and an extra strings. The fretwork from the factory wasn’t terrible, but I ended up polishing the frets and conditioning the fretboard. Afterwards, I did a quick truss rod and action adjustment, allowing this guitar really come to life. The pickups sound nice both clean and distorted, however the potentiometers are small and fairly weak and don’t offer much range in volume or tone. The fit and finish was decent as well, there was only one area (included in the pictures) that had some issues, but if you can look past some minor cosmetic issues, everything else is pretty remarkable for the price. Overall, I’d recommend this kit for anyone looking for an affordable set-neck LP, but be ready to do some minor adjustments, like on any guitar.

Playable out of the box
I purchased this for the guitar with intentions of upgrades, which I will definitely be doing , however as as package its a great starter kit as is. Mine weighs right at 8lbs, I was able to tune it and play out of the box. The action was a healthy 6-7 sixty fourths, which easily lowered to 5/64 on bass side and 4/64 on treble side with no buzz. A minor tweak on the truss rod for a tad more relief, a much needed fret polish- (see fret photo before polish) and walla, it plays great ! I recommend getting rid of the strings as they leave your fingers a nice silver color, also clean and treat the fret board. It has a decent quality pickup switch, small pots (work fine) but it looks like plenty of space in the tidy control cavity for full sized pots, the pickups are not too bad actually, and the tuning pegs work fine. As far as the other items in the very accurate description, the amp is capable of a nice crunch tone and a decent clean for practice. The gig bag is a nice dust cover at best, and the cord, picks, tuner, strap and extra strings are usable for a beginner. Overall I am very please with the build quality on the guitar, as stated in another review " Nicely done " Great value !
