Worked great to clear drain and it came with a drain snake which helps a lot. I haven’t had any issues after using this and my drain is clean and clear.

This product is great 1) The plastic snake, depending on your drain it can be a pain to get in or a breeze. My particular drain, it had to go in one way only, if not it didn't have enough space to bend and continue (it's was a bathtub). The snake is made to take out large chunks of grudge encrusted hair. Mind you, pull slowly, that will gunk will fly into your face if you are not careful. Note: You will probably have to put the snake in and out about 2 or 3 times...I use toilet paper to take out the large chunks of hair and continue. 2) The gel is great, slowly pour it. Wait 30 minutes, then flush it down with hot water. NOTE: the gel has a strong smell....use the fan or open the windows in the bathroom (if you have some). I did mine in an apartment, so fan on and doors closed. As soon as you start flushing the smell will go away. Overall the drain works like a charm now (before it made little "pools" during each shower) I used this product in the past a LOT of times and can say it is great.

The Draino liquid works well. I have crazy long hair and no matter what strainers or catches I put in there to prevent the hair going down the drain, it all goes down there anyway so I thought the snake would be perfect. I had a snake before and found it really useful. But somehow this snake doesn’t go down the pipe all that smoothly and then when you do get it down there, it snags and is really difficult to pull out. Some teeth break off on the way out but it still gets some hair out. It’s works better in the shower than the sink. Also you have to make sure the bends of the snake correspond to the bends of the pipes in order to get it to go down smoother. It does the job just not all that gracefully. Yes, pulling hair out of the drain can be graceful.

Our shower kept backing up, and my father said it was due to hair, and I asked him to snake it, but he never got around to it, and I was tired of standing in water, and also, because it drained so slowly, the tub would become very slippery from the soap left behind. I used the snake provided, and wasn't too impressed with it, it's cheap and flimsy. I got a little gunk out but nothing significant. I put the Drano down the drain and waited 30 minutes, really not knowing if it would work. Well wouldn't you know it, it really worked for me. I am sure results vary depending on what is causing the problem. I have just purchased a special hair catcher for the drain, hoping not to have to use Drano again, as I prefer not to use chemicals if possible, but I couldn't afford a professional to come out, so this was a cheap alternative to give a try. I saw that some said it didn't work, and if you don't follow the directions to the T you may not get results, you really need to wait 30 minutes. Our drain is back to normal, and I am not standing in water or sliding around, and my parents are safer, since they won't slid and possible fall and hurt themselves. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it. The package says it is safe on all pipes even PVC which was a concern my father had, but at this point I didn't care, as he had time to look at it, but it turns out it is safe for all plumbing.

The drain cleaning tool was GREAT! I managed to pull up a large screw (that I have no idea how long it was down there for) and thought that would fix the problem. Nope. The Gel did not work at all, BUT that MAY have been because it was a pretty nasty clog. Had to call maintenance, which I happily found out is actually free for my apartment. So I do not know if it would have worked better if it was a common clog or not. Hope this helps!

Great product! Removes clogs fast!

I love the addition of the snake in the box. Cleaned out the hair that I could get and the Drano did the rest.
