Sturdy, easy assembly and good price!
I recently purchased this umbrella stand to use in my veggie garden. I was skeptical at first thinking it was not going to be heavy enough to hold the umbrella. But the composite material is much heavier than I anticipated. The design is simple but attractive with a scrolled metal look. Easy to put together and it took less than 5-10 minutes to have it put togther completely. There are different inserts to hold the umbrella pole based on the size and the tightening knob holds it firmly in place. If you are looking for an eye-pleasing, heavy umbrella stand this is it!

Worth the price
You may be doubting this because of the price, cause i definitely did, but after receiving it and seeing how good the details are and how heavy it is I can say that it’s a great product. It’s heavy, sturdy, so easy to assemble, the size is perfect and after a full year, still looks exactly the same as it did on day one.

Stayed put during a storm!
I just set this up a couple days ago. We had a bit of an unexpected storm last night and the (open) umbrella itself blew off its pole into the neighbor's yard, but the base stayed put. It did loosen up a bit, but I didn't find my pliers to tighten the nut enough, so I expected that to happen sooner or later. Gotta find those pliers. And I guess I'd better duct tape the pole of the umbrella itself, which was purchased elsewhere. :) What I like so far: - I like the design. It should be easy to clean, and it looks good. - It's heavy enough to not blow away in wind gusts. Major test passed. - It seems like it should hold well without wobbling once I tighten it with pliers. The stabilizing pole is a good height and has adapters to fit different diameters of poles. - Good price point. Some of the bases I saw were triple the price of this one. Obviously I can't speak to its durability yet. But I anticipate at least a few years of use from this.

Heavy and sturdy base.
While the item is very nice and the base is sturdy, the piece that holds the umbrella is wobbly. The washer is tightly secured, but the holder still rocks. I am keeping it anyway because of the price.
