Worked great, magnet holds up well inside my existing cabinet.

This a very good product. I was given a long gun cabinet by a relative, the foam inside had gotten damp and musty, so I threw it all out and cleaned it up, and replaced the foam pieces with this product. It is great the magnetic strip on the back holds it firmly in place, the foam if durable and firm, it was exactly what I needed. I purchase one longer one for the back and one with the 4 slots for the side of the cabinet.

works great for my SBR's. needed to use 2 sided tape on carpeted interior magnets are weak.

Magnet is strong and holds quite well, but the glue holding the magnet to the foam is garbage. It peeled off before i even got it out of its packaging. I glued them back together and it holds up well now.

The negative reviews on this product are pretty ridiculous. The magnetic pad is more than enough to hold the RACK TO A STEEL SURFACE (please understand how a magnet works before giving an item a negative review for not holding to something not made of steel or iron). First of all, this item is not meant to hang something from; all it has to do is hold itself in place. SECOND OF ALL, the rigidity of the actual rack is far better then the crappy foam that comes with a standard gun safe. Read the description! The measurements are specified clearly; if you're surprised about the size of the item you purchased then buy a tape measure. If that doesn't help then go back to elementary school. This magnetic rack is everything I hoped it would be when I purchased it. I plan on buying several more to replace all of the pads in both of my safes.
