Have just bought this safe and have use almost 4 different New batteries from Duracell, Energizer , and another one . The battery expired 2030 and when ever I put the code I head a beep sound but my safe doesn’t open . It’s new and this is my first time trying to open the safe . I don’t know what to do or any suggestion on what other battery I can use again or link to where I can a battery you’re using. This is really frustrating me out

This safe is too big and its content to little ! Was very disappointed. And after a week I took it out and put back my old safe which was much smaller with almost same content . The door is so bulky , so is the complete safe . The plastic handle to close seems a bit weak and was afraid it would brake if I turned it too strongly .

This is a cheap document fire safe imported from the US and designed to protect important documents from loss by fire or damage by water. It is not a security cash/valuables safe. It is can be opened quickly using basic forcing tools or even a powerfull magnet. It is listed in the UK's Association of Insurance Surveyors Safe List with a recommended 'nil' overnight cash/jewellery rating. Check with your insurer before purchasing.

The safe arrived packaged well, with no damage. Was easy to set a secondary code. Several months in and haven’t had to change the batteries. I opted to not bolt it to the floor. Works as intended. I saw other reviews talking about the handle bends out of place easily. In the directions it states that’s how it’s designed so that the handle doesn’t break off if excessive force is used. The handle can be turned back to its intended place. Glad I bought it and great price for what it is. The only thing is it did arrive with “Sentry Safe” on the outside box and was sitting outside all day, so now all my neighbors know I have a big safe. But if they put it in another box, it would be massive.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: the reviews that I read all said it was the best in my price range for home security Security: I like that the key overrides the combination. I had read that there are ways to defeat the combinationlock with a magnet but if that is true, the key will prevent that. Design: In spite of some reviews, my safe came p[ackaged secury with no dents or scratches. It was heavy to put in position,but the quality and ease of use is impressive. Value for money: I had a cheaper safe and thought it was secure. After my home was broken into I found out how easy it was to use a crowbar ( which the thieves found in my garage) and pry the side with the bolts out and the door [popped open. Unless I am missing something here, this is not going to happen with this safe. Works well: Simple to understand programming the combination. Thickness: As I said, this thing is heavy and if you hit it on the side, it sounds solid. I don't usually write reviews but in this case I wanted others to know what a great product this is. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend this safe very highly. No negatives to report.

Hravy safe that can be unlocked using your fingerprint or the combination. Good price for this item.

I was a bit hesitant to order this based on other 1-star reviews here, especially the ones mentioning how finicky and inconsistent the fingerprint reader is. And for the first few minutes I was trying to set it up, I had the exact same frustrating issues others have mentioned, and I couldn't get fingerprints to register or read consistently. ...until, that is, I noticed the little strip of protective plastic covering the fingerprint reader. I have to gives kudos to the factory for their precision work here, because the plastic was fit SO precisely to the reader that it was absolutely invisible until I really started investigating. Once that strip came off, it was a whole new game and I've had absolutely no issues with it since. Of course, I don't know for sure that this is behind the problems others have had with the fingerprint reader (and of course makes no difference to the OTHER problems people have encountered), but I will say it fixed my woes. Otherwise, very satisfied: it's beefy, spacious, the pull-out drawer insert is a nice touch, and I didn't have any issues setting it up once I got it working right. Your mileage may vary!

This safe is well built and easy to use. I like that the battery compartment is on the outside. Has a lockable tray inside for holding documents or other small items -- which you can change the position of or remove altogether! Waterproof/air proof (as long as you don't drill into it to mount it), fire resistant. Has a light inside as well. Great safe!
