Rated it a 4 star right now because we just got it in the mail and wanted to test it. It works great and only takes minutes to shred entire 2 lb block of cheese. Then we shredded a small block of parmesan and it grated through it with no problems. Seems pretty durable and it is easy to clean. My husband has bad shoulders and said it was super easy to use. Definitely worth the price considering I went through 2 of the plastic rotary shredders. Will update once we have used it more.

I was very disappointed in this appliance. I bought two of them, one for a friend and one for myself. We both had the same experience: weak motor that doesn't cut or slice. I suppose if you're only doing soft cheeses it might be okay, but it struggled with a cucumber and I could barely get through an onion. Product gets clogged. It was faster to just slice by hand. I'm not someone who leaves negative reviews, but I felt like I wanted to warn folks to save their time and money. I returned both of them (which I normally don't do).
