I'm writing this from a health perspective because that's what bone broth is about. No one buys it primarily for the flavor or the need to drink a broth-like beverage. So while this powdered bone broth is very convenient and flavorful, there are some big issues from a health perspective that I want to point out. 1. It's not dehydrated bone broth. If you read the ingredients carefully, this is assembled after the fact from collagen and various flavorings. If you want just collagen, there are many good options that don't have to taste like broth. But if you want the full benefits of bone broth, including the high mineral content, it's about much more than the isolated collagen. 2. As most of us know, "natural flavors" is usually a cover for unhealthy ingredients we would not knowingly wish to ingest. I would encourage disclosure if these flavorings are indeed safe and healthy in this particular case. 3. Yeast extract has been added. Whether you believe this is MSG with a different name or simply high in glutamate content, it is not a safe additive for this product. Bone broth is already high in glutamate, so now it has a truckload more. If you happen to be sensitive to high levels of glutamate, this can pose a significant risk. Turns out, I'm sensitive to high levels of glutamate! I bought this product to begin a modified bone broth fast - for health. Day 1, I consumed two packets and a healthy meal. Day 2-3, I did the same and began to notice some mild stomach cramping and headache. Day 4, I had three packets and a healthy meal, but that night I woke up sick with nausea and fierce abdominal cramping. I also developed an intense headache that lasted three days. The only unusual food I consumed during this four-day period was the bone broth. Some people do have a reaction to bone broth because of the high glutamate content, but I have never reacted to homemade bone broth, even in large quantities. My guess is that the yeast extract in this bone broth product pushes the glutamate to unnatural and potentially unhealthy levels. We all get to decide on what is best for our health, and I hope my review helps you make a more informed decision.

We love ordering this particular brand of bone broth. We have been drinking it every korning for the past year. The taste is soooo good. Not chalky or anything.
