I really dislike this viscosity of germall, very had to work with when making lotions, liquid soaps, etc. I’m sure the preservative portion is fine though

Used this for my homemade leave in conditioner, blended in well and was the perfect amount for my large batch size.

I would put 0 stars if I could. The first time I ordered this, it came completely solid and white. I reordered a replacement because I needed it and even spent more on a 2 oz just for the convenience compared to what I spend for it at Wholesale Supplies Plus. The reordered one arrived and was a clear liquid. Great! Granted it was dropped off in 100 degree weather at my door, but I figured all was well, I just got a bad one the first time. Things happen. But no. The second one has become white and solid as well. As soon as I took it out of the package and set it in my office, it turned the same color and consistency as the first one. This is ineffective as a preservative and cannot be used. I’m assuming it may have been this consistency from the start and the weather had melted it, appearing it to be clear and liquid the second time. I don’t know if the warehouse has a bad batch of these or what, but I definitely will not be buying from here again. I have seen other formulators use this brand before and have no issues, so I thought I would try them out since I needed it. I’ve been formulating for over two years now and this is one of the main preservatives I use, so I am very well aware of what it is supposed to look like and the proper consistency. Not even worth the price charged for the convenience of overnight shipping. It’s almost $14 for a 2 oz bottle when I can spend $6 for the same 2 oz size and great quality at WSP. Very disappointed.
