NYX Professional Makeup Primer, The Face Glue Primer

This primer doesn’t let make up move, it’s brilliant!! No skin irritation, smells a bit like glue but that’s okay. A little bit goes a long way.

After seeing this on social media I was a little curious to try it. Working as a photographer my makeup never stays for any length of time. This primer is sticky but not to the extend it feels horrible. It goes on with the feel of a serum before becoming sticky. My makeup hasn’t shifted while wearing this and I do really recommend it. My skin has become oily and prone to breakouts I can say this hasn’t been an issue whilst using this product and I am very happy with the way it’s making my makeup last. It will save me a fortune on not needing to retouch!

PVA for the face quite literally. Makeup sticks well, it doesn't budge and it isn't too sticky. My only criticism is the bottle design, the primer is thick and hard to get out especially when its running low. Ive still bought another one since, just think the bottle design needs changing. If it wasn't for that it'd be 5 star review

Fantastic primer and a good price too

I had high expectations for this primer, but unfortunately it didn’t quite work for me. The texture is interesting and it does have that “gripping” effect that’s meant to hold makeup in place, but on my skin it didn’t feel as comfortable as I hoped. I found it slightly tacky and not particularly smoothing, so it didn’t give me that refined, even base I usually look for. It may work better on different skin types or for those who prefer a more “sticky” primer to lock makeup in. That said, the product itself seems well made and I can see how it could perform well for others, especially if you’re after long-lasting hold rather than a smoothing effect. Overall, not a bad product, just not the right match for my skin type.

Weirdly does feel like PVA glue, but the sticking power is definitely there. Applied and waited a few seconds for it to go tacky before applying my foundation. The only issue I have come across is it does seem to grab onto the foundation and makes it a little harder to blend. I have only tried on bare skin, so unsure as to whether this could be helped with a little moisturiser underneath. I have fairly sensitive skin and this has not irritated my skin at all, no strong unpleasant smells either. The tube is a little small so I personally would not use this as a go to every day primer.

Love this! Holds foundation on really well. The only downer is that I keep opening the whole of the lid, instead of the “glue” end.

Excelente. Es la primera vez que uso un primer porque antes no usaba nada de base. Yo que tengo piel seca, este producto me viene muy bien. Primero me hidrato la piel con una crema hidratante y después de un rato, uso esta prebase. Me deja la piel hidratada (ojo, no usarlo como crema hidratante). Luego uso la base y me dura casi todo el día. Muy buen producto la verdad.

Great face primer, has a nice slightly sticky texture but once you apply foundation you can't feel it at all. Softens my pores and helps hold my makeup for the entire day, even through sweat and water.

Love this primer. Really helps my makeup sit nicely & preps my skin
