I bought this pair of grinders to replace another set because they have Ceramic grinding heads. I was delighted to find that the design of the grinders have the adjustment set into the grinder and not on the top of the unit like my previous ones. This arrangement means that the grinders are more compact in size and not prone to getting knocked over. A very well designed set of grinders that make seasoning food very easy and superb for those with a weak grip. Easy to adjust and the setting stays where you want it to be. Thoroughly recommended and would definitely buy them as a gift item.

I'd got into the habit of buying the disposable pre-filled grinders from the supermarket, but a couple of things have been bothering me of late - one is just that I'm filling a landfill with waste, but the other is that the grinders in the disposable units are plastic - so I'm going to be eating tiny plastic particles along with my salt. Everybody talks about that in the news these days so I wanted something else. These are glass and stainless steel with ceramic grinders and so far have been great for the money. You can refill for as long as they last (I'm expecting a long time) and you can easily adjust the coarseness of the grindings. So I'm saving the planet, not eating micro plastic granules and they look quite stylish as a bonus too - it's all good.

Nice and petite, look good, and easy to fill up. It could have been slightly better as when you are grinding the tumblers, the black pepper is very fine, which I guess will have to do. And same for the salt. Not bad, at least I can fill them up and reuse again.

I wanted to change from very well working plastic grinders to a more environmenally friendly similar looking refill version. Unfortunately the product I was sent does not properly grind pepper and it is impossible to adjust the mechanism to coarse either, so it is useless for my purposes. The design is sleek and classic, but that does not help.

Good size heavy glass, metal a bit flimsy, salt grinds really good peppercorns only just ok , but for the price can't complain, they do look good on my dining table

Das Weihnachtliche Salz und Pfefferstreuer Set besteht aus 2 Keramik-Streuern. Einmal ist ein Rentierkopf auf dem weißen Streuer und der andere Streuer ist mit einem roten Tannenbaum auf rot-weiß gestreiften Grund. Beide Motive sind auf der Keramik drauf bzw. gleich mitgegossen. Der Rentierstreuer hat 2 Streu-Löcher, der Tannenbaum-Streuer hat 3 Löcher. Die beiden Streuer sind minimal in der Höhe unterschiedlich. Der Rentierstreuer ist knapp 8 cm hoch und der Tannenbaustreuer ist etwas mehr als 7 cm hoch. Der Bodendurchmesser ist beim einen 4,3 beim anderen 4,5 cm. Am Boden ist jeweils das Einfüllloch mit einem Plastikstopfen. Die Streuer sehen total niedlich und schön aus. Da sie allerdings in der Höhe sichtbar unterschiedlich sind, ist das für mich eher 2. Wahl. Von einer Marke gäbe es solche Unterschiede nicht. Wobei mich persönlich das nicht stört. Aber wenn man die Streuer verschenken möchte, finde ich, sollte bei dem Preis von 18 Euro keine solch sichtbaren Unterschiede sein.
