Rooza: A Journey through Islamic Cuisine Inspired by Ramadan and Eid

Amazing cookbook with a delightful array of recipes from a cross the globe. Nadiya has obviously put in huge effort in compiling these recipes and making them easy to follow! I have been searching for many of these recipes and was delighted when I saw them in the book, soooooo yummy!

I have all of Nadiya Hussain's books and I've watched all of her BBC series, and this is her best book by far. So many fantastic ideas, and the photography is really beautiful. I had to put it down because I was getting uncontrollably hungry just thumbing through it for the first time.

Best part of this s cookbook is that many counties are highlighted and each comes with several recipes, including a desert, to make a whole home cooked meal. This book is very practical for people who love to cook a nice family meal that won’t take away too much time. I am so glad I got this book and enjoy cooking whole meals for the family. I absolutely love the whole meal recipe format!

Does one even have to ask if a cook book by Nadya will be under 5 stars???? This one is the absolute best-30ish full dinner recipes inspired by Ramadan. Everything really easy to make and super delicious

I bought it for the pictures. Or, I mean I can't buy a cookbook that doesn't have photos. Decent pics, decent recipes. No regrets, I can recommend with the reservation that you should be a more ambitious cook than me. Or at least, more keen cook than me. I'll only use two or three recipes per year. Is that good use from a book? I'm not sure.

Pre-ordered this as soon as I saw it was coming out. Love Nadiyah’s recipes and style amd the illustrations are beautiful. Delighted to see that it had recipes from all sorts of Islamic cultures, which is great for varying family meals too. A perfect mix that’s sure to be a hit with all foodies, regardless of whether they celebrate Ramadan. A highly recommended purchase!

J'attendais ce livre avec impatience, mon conjoint étant marocain, et j'ai été TRÈS surprise de constater que le Maroc n'y figurait pas du tout ! On y trouve la Tunisie, l'Égypte, l'Algérie, etc. Sous la rubrique Algérie, on trouve le baghrir, que l'on trouve partout au Maroc, mais l'ami algérien de mon conjoint n'en avait même jamais entendu parler. Le livre est arrivé bien emballé.
