Modkat Flip Covered Front Entry Cat Litter Box, Black

My cat pees up- i didn't even know that was possible. This has been a lifesaver. All our other boxes have a seam in the middle and pee gets everywhere. This has been great at containing the mess. We haven't had it long enough to know how the liner will hold up, but I care more about the height so I'd be ok if it only last a few months. The box is great. Flip top is solid and it has a spot to hold the scooper.

I LOVE it. My baby girl loves it too. The size is like a normal litter box but super spacious for being enclosed. I searched for months no kidding for something I was going to like that was enclosed and wasn’t going the robot route. I also LOVE that it comes in grey BLACK or white. That’s hard to come by. I love how it’s got magnetic closures and the flip lid. And it’s super simple to deconstruct and put back together. It comes with one liner and two little charcoal filters. I am impressed with how the liner fits though was nervous at first. I love how they’re washable we’ll see how it holds up. I keep my girls litter box extremely clean so if you’re someone who doesn’t deep clean regularly this would still be a nice option. I also think it’s nice it came with everything and replacements aren’t too bad and come in a pack of multiples. Oh! It comes with a really nice scoop too and it slides right into the side- bonus points! I as of now could literally not be any happier. The onlyyyyyy thing is so my girl was open to it right away used it immediately but I don’t think it’s going to mask smells like it says it has a huge opening still. I think it will depend on the type of litter their sanitation’s etc I use mixed tofu litter and the new stuff I’m trying isn’t as good so that’s a me issue. It also comes with this cute cardboard toy/ game with a ball for your cat and Miss B thoroughly enjoyed that. She loves balls though so she thought that was the bees knees haha Anyway look I searched high and low for something useful and modern and easy to clean and this fits all those. If you’re on the fence because of price I swear just do it!

Excellent design - easy to clean - cats love it.

I have always had cats. So I have owned several different style of cat boxes in my lifetime. These are outstanding. One of my boys was starting to stand on his hind legs and overshoot the edge of my standard cat box. There's nothing worse than walking in the door and smelling cat urine. When I purchased these, I was a little worried he would not like having to crouch down while inside the lidded box, however, he loves it. Both of my boys took to this box immediately. I think they prefer the privacy! Best part... NO MORE URINE AROUND THE EDGES OR DRIPPING UNDERNEATH THE CAT BOX. YAY. I wasn't sure about the liner, which is optional. But I actually like it! It is very thick - no way they will ever tear through it with their claws or anything. The scoopers are great - it's nice that they hang right on the side. The fold-back lid makes cleaning the box a breeze. I bought one for my mom's kitties and she loves it too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially if you live in an apartment.

I took a chance paying this much for a litterbox because I have a tall cat who pees extremly high. I bought a top side first because I figured it would contain the mess, and it worked- except that he prefers the front entry box of my senior cat to pee & uses the top entry to poo. So i purchased this one for both cats. I used the liner from day one, and to my dismay, he still is able to pee all the way to the flip lid joints and odor control on the rear high side of the box. (thankfully he never uses the front side.) At the normal cleaning time, I tore the box & liner apart & scrubbed the whole thing with comet w/bleach. Then I duct-taped the liner to the box all around the high sides. That keeps it from going between the box & liner, but he still pees between the lid & box & on the charcoal pads in the basket. So i am giving this four out of 5 stars because it would be a problem solver for a normal cat. But to pay this much money & still have to duct tape it every time I clean it, makes it less than a perfect rating for me & my high-jump pee'er
