Presto 07061 22-Inch Electric Griddle with Removable Handles, Extra-Large Nonstick Ceramic Surface, Black

This griddle is outstanding. It’s got a super durable surface that works just as well for grilling meat as it does for pancakes. So far it cleans so easily, is nonstick and I love being able to take the legs off for cleaning. The heating element works well, but because it circles the outside of the unit i do notice the middle doesn’t get as hot. This isn’t a problem for me since the griddle is very large and I can cook the same amount of things on the hearing element as I did my last one and still have plenty of room to move things around and switch up the direct heat. I highly recommend this griddle (I have been using it for a few months) if anything changes I will update the review.

Excellent product! I bought this 22” griddle because my 5 grandchildren popped up on me. I made several pancakes for them in about 20 minutes at 8 at a time. The pancakes cooked evenly. I did however use a laser temperature gauge so that helped a lot as well not to burn or undercook them. The nonstick worked well also. It was easy to add and remove the handles. It washed extremely well and looks like new after use. Storage was nice as well. I slid it in the cabinet right next to the cutting boards. I didn’t find the texture of the griddle to be a problem at all with the pancakes as I read others did. Worth the money.

So far, so good! Did my research, this was the top contender! I love it! Great size for a family. I made blueberry pancakes, no oil, slid right off, came out perfect! Easy clean up too, couldn’t be any simpler to use or clean. I will get so much use from this griddle and save a lot of time in the process, which is my goal. Why did I wait so long to purchase? I was mainly worried about even heat distribution. This exceeded my expectations as every pancake was cooked evenly. I’m more than pleased! And look, 12 bun size sausage patties cooked at once! This would make a great gift for anyone who does much cooking! Trust me when I tell you I am very happy with this product!

I had a few things I was looking for in a grill. - VERY nonstick - easy to clean - steady temperature - low sides - even heat distribution* (This is the problem) I was wary of the nonstick issue with this griddle. The textured surface concerned me. I bought it anyway, because of the questions and reviews. Other reviewers said it would be fine and they were right! ZERO sticking. I did eggs with no oil or butter this morning and they were perfect Low sides - I needed these griddles to make crepes. A LOT of crepes. After the batter is poured, I use an offset spatula to spread them out. I'd been having serious issues with this when using my stove and the first (bad) griddle I tried. Well, these handles are super low. I didn't even bump into one while cooking my super-sized test batch. "Easy to clean." This was a place where I thought I'd be forced to compromise. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. The handles pop right off. All you have to do is press two springs and away they go. Without the handles and the wire, it's nothing to take it to the sink for a quick wipe down. This is where the nonstick surface really shines. There's barely anything to wipe off. Steady temperature. This was the reason I was forced to try a new griddle in the first place. With my gas stove, I felt like I was spinning plates. I kept having to tweak each burner the entire time I was cooking. I needed to be able to set it and forget it. The only minor bump with this is that, toward the end, both of my griddles did start to overheat. It wasn't major and I just had to drop the temp by about five degrees. Back in business in less than 30 seconds. Heat distribution. This is where Presto lost a star. One griddle has near perfect even cooking all the way across. It really is remarkable. But the second griddle has a serious cold spot in the middle. I was able to work with it (it's still SO much better than what I was using), but it is annoying. I'd live with it, but the other griddle is so perfect that I do believe that this one is defective. I'm going to make one more test batch tomorrow to pay attention to that particular issue. If it's obvious enough, I'll return this one and get another. And yes, I *absolutely* will get another. These are the best griddles I've ever had in my LIFE and right now I'm a loyal fangirl. It normally takes me about 40-45 minutes to make a batch of crepes (that's with four burners going or two of the griddles I just gave away), but last night I made a double batch in 26 minutes, start to finish. Cleanup of the griddles took me ONE MINUTE If they last and continue to perform like they did, I'll be giving these away as presents.

Who knew a griddle could be sleek and sexy as well as cook your pancakes and bacon. This griddle is easy to clean. Heats up quick and evenly. The drip tray works great. We use it for french toast and tacos. Highly recommend!

I've had very good results using this griddle to cook pancakes. The non-stick surface is just that -- the pancakes do not stick but they don't fly off it either. It is important to give it a good 10 minutes to heat after the inidcator light indicates it has reached the temperature setting. This allows the surface to become uniformly hot so there are no cold spots and everything cooks evenly. The detachable handles make it easy to clean as well

This is our second griddle from Presto. It works great! Food doesn’t stick and pancakes come out great. Lots of space to cook for a group. Handles come off for storage. Great product!

This has to be the best griddle I have ever used! Very sturdy and great size to make the workers tons of pancakes in the morning! Does not burn... and has to be the easiest product to clean!!! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Me gustó mucho por que no se le pega la comida. El queso derretido se despega fácilmente. Tiene buen tamaño, alcanza buena temperatura y la puedes regular.

Going from one pancake at a time to 7 pancakes has made feeding my family with two teens sooooo much easier. The non stick surface is a bit tricky to get used to but once you figure it out it is amazing. I have used this every weekend since it came in. It heats up evenly and quickly and cleans really easily.

Better temp distribution compared to previous black and decker griddle. Easy clean and non stick surface…cooking fried eggs is a breeze!
