Wanted to get Chameleon finish on furniture.
I'm a complete novice to painting, but after much time spent scouring the web and reading reviews of anything and everything iridescent / chameleon / holo etc.. I decided to try this sample product - Main reason being that every iridescent/colour shift spray paint product i looked at seemed to have multiple poor reviews. Then another avenue i tried saw me scrolling through endless options of powdered additives for UV gel nail polish, so i doubt they'd have done the job. I eventually found this product and as mentioned the image was what made me click on it- so was pleased to finally find something i could potentially work with - After reading the description i knew everything i wanted to know (ie suitable for mixing with any clear top coat and what to use as a base.)It arrived after a week or so. As I wasn't sure what to expect i tested it on a paper mache 3d letter first..an effect it wasnt a chalk base but it still developed a light effect- however after a couple of days it seemed to change and take on a darker more obvious finish. I then decided to go ahead with the shelves in the photos - I actually used a different clear medium but it seems to be the same gradual drying/finishing time. The pack doesn't have any instructions or info on it at all - Altho i wandered if this might be due to it being the sample size?? so really just went off the web description above. Tried searching online for info or anything remotely relevant , just as a guide but came up with nothing other than spraying cars and a few involving jewellery making. So given the circumstances im chuffed i have ended up with something half decent Was but Quite a cool effect
