Satechi 4-in-1 USB-C Mobile Hub, 4K HDMI, 100W PD Pass-Through Charging

Fantastic product! Works great with steamdeck and iphone 15 pro max. Took this with me on a 2 week vacation including a 7 day cruise. Loaded up a 2TB microsd with tv shows and movies and it worked perfectly the whole trip. Paired with some Xreal AR glasses and you have yourself a complete multi-media/gaming heaven to use in almost any and all conditions! I love how compact it is and combines power/usb-C video out and storage all in one device instead of having to connect a large dock. Highly recommended! Would be nice if it had a 3.5mm audio jack but not if it would add too much bulk. Otherwise I would say this is the perfect portable "dock" for my use case.

Works well with my Samsung S26U and Ray Neo 4 Pro. Problem is it's not going to fit all cases. You need easy access to that power port.

I love the concept, it was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the design is lacking. The USB-C connector is not long enough to reach through a normal case. The real issue however is that the video-over-USB-C does not work anyway. I tested with my viture pros. They work fine plugged directly into my Pixel 9a, but with the adaptor they only darken to show that they are powered, and do not receive the signal. My phone confirms that the screen is being mirrored but it does not make it to the glasses. I tested this without the case on my phone, obviously, but also with various combinations of having a charger plugged in and an SD card inserted, without it making a difference. I'm very disappointed in the result and I will likely initiate a return soon if it does not seem to fulfill its core function.

It does its job and is a decent hub. You can connect goggles and play on a Steam Deck or a computer, output video from a device while charging it, and use the microSD card slot to expand your device’s storage or transfer photos and videos for light editing. However, it tends to overheat, and at times it struggles to maintain a stable video output. For the price I paid, there is really no justification for these issues. If it were significantly cheaper, I would not have a problem with it, but that is not the case. I ended up purchasing a different hub. That said, if your priorities are convenience, portability, and something easy to carry while traveling or on the go, this could still be a good option for you. On the other hand, if you are a demanding user and plan to connect an external monitor, a keyboard, or multiple accessories to your tablet or phone, you may find its performance somewhat limiting.

I picked this up expecting basically nothing more than a glorified adapter, and… fine, I was wrong. First off, the transparent design is a nice touch. You can see the internal circuitry, which gives it that “I might actually be engineered properly” vibe instead of the usual cheap plastic mystery box. It feels more premium than most adapters. Performance-wise, it handles high power (marked up to 100W), so charging isn’t crawling like it’s 2008. It works reliably for power delivery and data passthrough without randomly disconnecting every five seconds like some bargain-bin garbage. Plug it in, it works. Low bar, I know, but you’d be surprised how many fail that. Size is great too to use with my zfold6.

Works great. Compatible with Viture and XReal. Design flaw has any cables putting weight on connection, causing eventual signal failure. Keeping though. Great backup for travel with it's size. Not messy like the other usb dongle type products out there.

Read and write speeds for sd card and usb are as advertised. Power delivery is great, usb c male to females works as well as female to female. Ports are in direct line for great hub function. All around great device.

Allows me to use my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with a pair of Nreal Air (the first Airs), in conjunction with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse as very compact field office setup. Works with my Steam Deck as well but due to the size and having everything pointed vertically, I tried it with a 180 down angle adapter. Doing this causes some flickering in the glasses, so instead I plugged the dongle directly in to the deck, then use two of those adapters for the power and display cable. Allows for the maximum charging wattage on both the phone and deck, absolutely a necessity for me during long sessions of using the glasses. The card reader is a nice bonus, as it lets me transfer files to and from the phone and deck as long as the card is in exFAT which is readable by both. Tried it with an Ipad Mini 6, for which the glasses work when plugged in directly but not when it is connected via the dongle.

This works perfectly. It's compact, handles power management like a champ, allows an integrated drive for storing docs and game ROMs (if you do emulation) and the 100w power USB-C port also does data passthrough so you can plug in a doc / hub or a game controller. Yes, it's more expensive than other options, but not by much and the advantages are more than worth it.

it's smaller than I expected! Lightweight and build quality is solid. Definitely recommended!

Doesn't work with the samsung s25 ultra at all. It displays it as a charging port. Not worth it at all.
