Surprised but excited
We really enjoyed the taste and availability of the product. It was very quick and easy. My daughter really enjoyed it after school as a quick meal. Good value for the cost. I was nice to be able to microwave it quick without having to thaw it. The smell is so good but also great taste. It's just right for a quick light meal.

pleasantly surprised how good this tastes, I will buy again
I like it, way better than expected. I find it tasty and rather filling. I didnt need to add anything to it, but doctor it up if you want. I expected it to be bland, but I'm rather impressed how tasty it is and has a balanced flavor. I can taste the cheesy tomato sauce, and the beef is pretty good too. I think the sauce really sold me. Mmm. I dont love all the Hormel offerings, some I dont care for at all, but I have tried enough to have some favorites. Just try them out. I really like this, so it will be a repurchase. I dont eat stuff like this regularly, but it is wonderful to keep on hand for a quick light meal or snack. Definitely a good option for emergencies (easy to heat, or could eat without heating). I try to shop sales to gain the best value. My order definitely had 7 containers in it as expected.

It is Beefy Mac not Chili Mac
I eat the Hormel Compleats meals several times a week. You can not beat the quality, cost and convenience. Plus they are very shelf stable and can be ready in a couple of minutes. Some of them are very, very good and I have my favorites. I thought the Beefy Mac & cheese would be like a chili mac. It is not, it's not spicy at all and I'm a guy who eats Jalapeños right out of the jar. It does not have a lot of meat in it, such as many of the other Compleats Meals do. I found it bland as I like spicy food, but other may find it just right for them. It won't be added to my favorites.

Go for the Spaghetti or the Beefy Mac and you’ll be pleased. Don’t stray from the two.
The Beefy Mac and the Spaghetti are the best options from Hormel. The spaghetti is fast. Add a little 4C and it is like you cooked for an hour. The Beefy Mac has changed somewhat, but it’s still pretty good (just not as great anymore). It used to be the best one. The stew is middle tier. It is definitely not the same stew it once was… same with the pot roast. The turkey used to be a lot better. A LOT better. What happened? The tender beef left a lot to be desired. It didn’t feel like a quality meal, but my hopes were high.

Should be named horrible completes microwave meal
Let me start out by saying I usually love these meals. Totaling complete lie. First of all there is no detectable beef in the meal. Secondly it appears to be a tomato based sauce with a very very light whisk of cheese flavor. Not at all what I was expecting nothing like I would make at home. Actually this product should be named horrible completes meal
