Not recommended for iPhone 16 Pro Max
iPhone 16 Pro Max - didn’t work well. Purchased ORICO SSD for a shoot in Apple ProRes, waste of money. Constant disconnect and termination of video recording. Connected to 17 Pro Max - video could be recorded in 4K ProRes HDR, tried up to 10 minutes. Light weight is positive experience, but cheap feeling of material, could be better. Getting hot in way of cable connection to the disk even without usage. Writing this feedback in Amazon app having disk connected, temperature of disk enclosure reached around 45+ degree C, not sure what will happen outdoor under direct sunlight. Will try to use as a normal SSD for a laptop, let’s see how it works…

The cable / connector
The connector didn't match to my iPhone 13 ProMax and 14 ProMax. so its useless. It was disappointing that the cable is type C.

Perfect SSD to shoot ProRes videos with, Cable you use can be finicky and will have to find one that can support higher speeds of shooting

Work good only for new devices iPhones ! Work good whit PC and new iPads to very good price fell nice

Works very well for me (at least when connected directly to my Android phone)... after formatting it the first time, it's good to use... transfer speeds are dawn fast... now I need not worry about running out of space in Google Photos...
