I received my order of alum stone the first piece of small stone that I used to make a facial mask for my skin didn’t have that smell but I just used another piece of stone today and it has a rotten smell. From what I found on Google it might have the smell because of bacteria growth. I’m not going to use it anymore and return for a refund. Disappointed that it wasn’t a good product.
