Works great right out of the box! Easy setup! Low/no latency!
Very happy with this. I already own an AVAccess KVM for my main PC, so when I decided to start using a second mini PC (held in my network closet) for streaming my media library onto my living room TV, this seemed like a great option. Works great right out of the package. Set up was easy and I was able to start using right away. Everything was packaged carefully and everything needed was included. The only thing I had to provide of my own were two HDMI cables and an ethernet cable. Latency is very low and image quality is almost identical to a direct connection. I was initially concerned about issue with PoE as some other reviews reported it, but I had no issue. But I am using a brand new cat5e cable I had stashed, so your hardware may affect this. I plugged this into an AV receiver in order to run audio and video to my tv and still no noticeable difference from a direct connection. Movies and TV shows look and sound great. I set this up to test kind of hastily, but the low profile of both the receiver and transmitter will make it very easy to set up inconspicuously and out of the way of all my other devices. I may even mount it behind the TV. I am very happy with the performance so far.

Product info lacking/ Amazing product otherwise!
Not often to I grant 4 stars. But the only problems I had with this thing is what is the lack of knowledge base thats publicly available to it. I am in IT, this is what I do. To me, a tech savvy guy... This thing was a pain in the ass. So heres the good and the bad: The good: Easy to setup Works when finished 0 Latency The bad: Lack of publicly available knowledge base regarding this product for troubleshooting USB functionality does not cover usb 3.0, I think it's at 1.0 but I could be mistaken since the last time I checked the specs. I spent hours on the phone with their support trying to get this to work. We eventually discovered that there is only 1 known type of display to HDMI cable that works with this system. which is the UGREEN Display to HDMI cable. The product works! But make sure that you have every bit of detail about what you are plugging into your machine before making this purchase. It does not support usb 3.0, so some of your accessories might not work. Very specific cables are needed under different circumstances.

Impressive extender—totally fixed my setup
I bought the this extender because I needed to place my PC in a different room and still have full control from my desk. Plugged it in with a single Cat6 cable and it delivered: I’m getting smooth 4K with zero noticeable latency, and all my USB 2.0 devices (keyboard, mouse, webcam) work perfectly at 50 m away.

ideal solution for low latency PC gaming on a TV!
pricier than the alternatives, but you get what you pay for -- fantastic KVM that is much more stable and well-built compared to previous cheaper ones that i have tried. i chose this one because the previous one i tried had very limited USB support -- the drivers for the USB ports were for mice and keyboards // HID devices *only*, so no USB bluetooth dongle support like i needed -- and this one doesn't have that issue. i don't have hard numbers or measurements, but the latency is basically imperceptible for gaming. i played through jedi survivor and just finished bloodborne at 1080p + 120hz on my samsung QN90D TV, and it has worked flawlessly. so i really have no complaints at all, this is absolutely worth the money! i would recommend it to anyone who wants to use their computer for PC gaming on a TV in a separate room like i did minor things to watch out for (but which are not issues with the KVM itself!) -- make sure to get this newer version with HDMI 2.0 support, and use HDMI 2.0+ cables if you want to use higher refresh rates (120hz) or resolutions (4k, although i typically use 1080p). also, just something to keep in mind -- i had to dig around the website to confirm it, but this version does not support HDR this is a fantastic KVM that has worked perfectly for my needs, and i've had no issues with it at all. if they release an updated version with HDMI 2.1 support, i will almost certainly upgrade to it. highly recommend it!

This is the extender I am looking for
I got a cheap extender from China, they claimed to support 4K and USB extension with zero latency. But actually, the picture is compressed, laggy and I can barely see texts on the screen clearly. USB extension also buggy because I do not support USB camera and my trackball on Linux. This one, however, solved all problems. The picture is clear, no preception lag, trackball works and I can have video conferencing with the USB camera in my room. I should go straight to this one instead of waiting for one month to get the inferior one. A must-have item when you have a large heavy and noisy workstation in your home downstairs and want to work in the bedroom upstairs.

Amazing product. I can send a 4K 60hz signal from my gaming computer 50ft away to my Sony 4K TV perfectly. There is no input or streaming lag, the USB 2.0 extension lets me connect a 2.4ghz gaming controller and a separate mini keyboard/mouse. The HDMI also passes all audio formats perfectly, I've tested compressed and uncompressed Atmos+TrueHD and no issues at all with any surround format. Yes it is pricey compared to cheaper ones, but I've tried a no-name and OREI and the picture quality of this AV Access extender is like I've got my computer directly plugged into my TV. The others the compression is very noticeable and text is pixelated. Also, the other extenders with USB it may only pass keyboard and mouse signals whereas this one has no problem with webcams or controllers. Also good service, my extender came with a faulty USB cable and they refunded me a small amount to buy a new one.

Unit has been used to watch maybe 30 movies in the past year. Today it quit on me. PoE is not working, can plug in either transmitter or receiver in with 18v and they turn on fine, but will not power other unit over PoE. Have changed out cat6 multiple times. What a waste of $270 at the time, I see the price has gone way up. Not worth it at all.
