Just What I Need!
i received this product a few days ago. I have used it twice to grind whole coffee beans. IMO, it's easy to use, not overly loud, and grinds the beans quickly to the grind that I need. I LIKE it!

Satisfied with my new gizmo!
Works perfectly thus far. Probably could have gotten the same brand without the timer button for a less price. Takes less than 5 seconds to grind flax seeds, and probably less than 8 seconds for roasted coffee beans. I had concerns about the blade being a bit wobbly and wanted to contact the company. No number available to call and don’t recall reading about a website in the instruction pamphlet. Works great thus far without incident, so I guess everything is okay. Blade cannot operate without the top cover locked into place.

No support
Initially loved the grinder, however after only 3+ months it is sporadically not working. Trying to get support, but I keep getting routed to "self troubleshooting links." When it works, it's awesome.Edit: I am editing this review due to finally contacting the company directly, as before I was trying to go through amazon. It seems that as soon as they heard from me directly, they immediately offered a replacement. Great customer service.

Good grinder. Bad seal
It is an excellent grinder. Does a really good job at grinding my seasonings and is convenient to use. However, two big issues. It's not super powerful so if you put something hard in it might jam the blade, just make sure there's nothing weirdly positioned in the grinder. Issue #2: the seal between the plastic cover and the grinder cup is not good so dust gets flung all over the inside of the grinder. It's a really good grinder otherwise, it grinds pretty fast and is super quiet while being at a reasonable price, just be prepared for a lot of cleanup when dry grinding.

Excellent coffee grinder
So far so good, have had this for about a month. We use it every 3 days or so and it performs very well.

Sound quality and timer
I was looking at a few and picked this one because of the reported sound quality and timer. The timer is great...I like not having to hold a button to grind my coffee beans. Plus with the timer you get the same grind every time. While it's my first grinder and I don't really have anything to compare it to I found this grinder quiet.

Great for those with arthritis
Every other spice/coffee grinder I looked at you either had to grip the unit with your hand and SQUEEZE the lever with your index finger and thumb and hold it to grind for however long you wanted to reach a desired consistency. Or you had to PRESS DOWN from the top with one hand using your index finger, thumb, or hand, and hold the unit with your other hand to grind for however long you wanted to reach a desired consistency. This is a problem for those with pain and/or arthritis, especially, the holding of the unit and pressing for a period of time. This Shardor product easily solves this problem. Put in whatever you want to grind, set the amount of time to grind, and lightly press the button. The machine does all the work for you. You don't have to hold and press anything.I love being able to put the different bowls and lid straight into the dishwasher. I had a Krups spice/coffee grinder that was a good product, but you couldn't remove the bowl to clean it. Different ground up spices would often built up in the bowl causing it to slow. This was something I didn't want to deal with ever again. What's more, with this grinder there are two different bowls: one for herbs and spices that has two blades, and the other for wet ingredients like garlic, onions, ginger, etc. that has 4 blades.Whenever I've had to chop garlic I had to use my food processor which was a hassle. No more with this Shardor spice/coffee grinder. I can finally chop wet ingredients without dirtying a big food processor. One last thing, the two-blade bowl is loose compared to the four-blade bowl. The two-blade bowl is NOT defective or broken. When I asked the company why this was they responded,"The bottoms of our two blade cups are designed to have gaps in them. The purpose of this design is to minimize noise when grinding. Please don't worry about the quality, if there is any problem, we will take care of the warranty."What I like is that they not only responded to my email through Amazon but when I registered the product on their website they responded to my inquiry there as well. I do believe they will stand behind their product for the warranty period, and so far, I'm impressed with its versatility and quality. Incidentally, the sound when grinding is minimal.

well built unit - not keen on the press-down-to-turn-on switch.
Everything it really great. really, but one thing I find slightly obnoxious - you have to press down to turn on. It's not hard to engage the switch, I've just never had one that you have to hold down to keep on. I think I prefer a side switch inside. other than that, it's a great unit.
