Perfect little light for our end table. We keep this next to the chairs, where standard bulbs send too much light upwards. The design of this one sends most of the light at the shade and creates a wonderful ambiance. Great bulb, especially for the price.

As another review mentioned, this bulb tends to be a bit shorter than the original bulb in my dryer socket. I really had to twist a few more times and put a little force behind the installation. But it lights up fine and has plenty of brightness. I installed it on June 16, 2023 and will update if the bulb starts to flicker or shuts off any time soon. Hopefully it lasts.

I like the brightness in my range hood, but they didn't last as long as I would expect for LEDs. I'm replacing them once per year or so because they start flickering or half of the emitters burn out.

Very Good Quality Highly Recommend Very Bright

Three out of four have failed after about 6 months. They start out bright but after a few months they dim and don't put out enough light. Each one has failed in this same manner. I cannot recommend this model if it's lifespan is only a few months.

At first, these bulbs remained dark while a different E12 LED bulb and an old incandescent bulb worked perfectly when installed in the same socket. What I noticed upon closer inspection is these bulbs (center bulb in photo) have electrode tips that do not protrude quite as far into the socket as the others (see yellow arrow) when the bulb is seated. The physical difference is small, but was enough to prevent the tip from making contact with the metal tang at the bottom of the socket. After using a dental tool to carefully adjust both the ground and tip tangs inside the socket, these bulbs worked perfectly.

I have several old-fashioned lamps (replicas of oil lamps) that use a regular bulb on top and a nightlight bulb on bottom. The hole on bottom is so small that it won't fit anything larger than a nightlight bulb. For some of my lamps I didn't want a dim bulb on bottom. These are great!

I use a vintage optical viewer to help me select frames on photographic film that I wish to scan as PNG files. The original bulb was tungsten, which generates a lot of heat after a while, running the risk of curling the negatives and affecting the focus on the scanner bed. I decided to try this bulb since its color rating is in the same range as tungsten, an important aspect when looking at color transparencies. The intensity (light output) is a little higher on this LED bulb, but the light distribution is better than the filament in the old bulb, which means no "hot spots" while looking at the image.
