I am a big crafter and diy-er and wanted to branch into candle making. This kit has absolutely EVERYTHING you need: wax, multiple scents to choose from, thermometer, instructions, cute jars, even label stickers! One of the best features is that everything c is pre-measured and packaged accordingly. The glass and tin jars are seven ounces, the wax is packaged in 7 oz bags, the scents are bottled for 7 oz candles, so there was no guess work. It came beautifully packaged and very organized- even opening and unpacking it was fun. I made my first candle within minutes of opening the box and there was even enough wax left to make a little votive (in the picture the small pink candle was an old container and not in the kit). Because of the pre-packaging there really wasn’t any cleanup for me, so as soon as the melting pot had cooled (about 40 minutes from when I turned it on) everything was back in the box and back on the shelf for the next time. I’m really surprised given the packaging and how complete the kit is that the price was this low- I’m definitely going to be buying more to give as Christmas presents for all my fellow crafters and candle lovers.

This is a beautiful set for a beginner, and I love it. Everything you need to make a candle from start to finish is in the packaging. It came packaged beautifully — like a gift in itself! It comes with wicks, stickers, labels, colors, fragrance, soy wax, the burner, the pot, etc. This is a complete set. Note: one bag of wax will make MORE than you need for one jar… just be prepared to pour the remaining wax into another prepped small tin. One bag of wax will NOT make two jar candles… the leftover wax should be poured into a tealight, or something slightly larger.

This kit is pretty great. Purchased for my daughter’s birthday because she loves candles. Everything was packaged well so there were no leaking products. Appeared to have everything she would need to make candles. I helped her unbox and then ran to the grocery store, by the time I got back she had already made me a vanilla candle and it was pretty and smells fantastic. She’s 15 now and it didn’t take her long to figure it out on her own and make a great candle. Wonderful for candle making beginners! She made a couple others with different colors as well and seems to be really enjoying it. The colors are actually bright, it’s a large kit!

Gave this as a gift and it was AMAZING!!! Such a fun arrangement of different colors, sizes, and smells for candle making. This is easy to use and a great starter kit for beginners. Definitely worth the money.

I feel pretty neutral about this product. It was a very fun activity but the candles did not burn well. The wick was loose in the dried wax. As an inexperienced candle maker I’m willing to mark that up to my fault, but I’m curious if others had the same issues. The materials provided were functional. Do not get the scent oils on your skin!

Best when you have nothing to do and have time to make the best candles its has different colors it has different sizes great cost and you can mix different smells and be creative and make quality candles that have amazing burn durability

I purchased these for my wife, she wasn’t the biggest fan of the scents but she truly enjoyed the kit and making the candles. Pros: the materials look and feel like great quality items, and the kits seem to have a good selection to choose from. Cons: maybe it’s user error, but the candle wax doesn’t seem to burn all the way around, so it seems to be a bit of waste.

Nice DIY candle set. The box was bigger than expected and contained all the items listed. Nice gift for my wife this holiday season.

See photo. These are not big tins as described. Compared to a big tin, the black one is the one that you get. It’s more like a ( tea candle ) on steroids. These size candles burn for 2 hrs and then done. Something you would find at the dollar store. Poor quality tins
