Don't let the small size fool you.
I wanted to use these magnets to hold up the valance on my blinds instead of having to get a long piece of valance into the plastic clips while balancing on a ladder 7' in the air. My plan was to glue them to the valance piece and then place it over the top of the blinds. These magnets are so powerful that if I had used them I would never get the valance piece off. They come in a plastic case and each magnet is separated by a disk of plastic. There is a warning not to let them touch each other. But two of mine did touch each other. They flew (yes flew) together, gave off a spark and are now joined for as long as magnets last. So are they good magnets? Yes, but you need to be sure you want a magnet this strong. And if one of these buggers is strong you should try to detach the two that joined together.

Don't hesitate to buy!!!
These 1/2" magnets are brutally strong!!! I was weary at first but then I tried to pull them apart and it's a easy 20-30 of pressure to pull on these....man I might buy more!!!

Strongest Magnet I Have
These are super strong and I’ve dropped one on two occasions and it survived.

Very strong.
Small but strong. Hard to separate and they will chip if you let them collide.

Stronger than you might expect!
Amazing little magnets. But, CAUTION, they are VERY strong. Handle with care. They are very hard to separate and if improperly handled can fly together with such force they can shatter. These are not for children, and too strong for refrigerator notes.

STRONG MAGNETS
Very strong magnets. Even getting them apart was difficult - especially when you get down to two of them. The size makes them hard to grip. If you don't need the strongest magnet you can find, you may want to look for a lower N number. That said; these are strong.
