A lot higher quality than I was expecting. The box itself has 4 battle maps. 1 of which I will actually probably use because it's an arena. The creature tokens are thick and dense matte cardboard that feel great to the touch. The dm screen is very nice and legit, like a 4 panel hardcover book cover. The large platmat is quite big and is a nice boardgame board material. All you really need with this is a dry erase eraser and you're all set for any DND session.

Been looking for a compact set up for fast games. This is well worth the money paid for.

This combination package is extremely versatile. The maps are a proper thickness. The “punch out” puzzle like pieces make for greater playability and functionality. You can mix and match the pieces with the different maps. The set of dice inside were a nice extra as I didn’t catch it in the original description. I can’t wait to use this during my next one-shot campaign. Storage, though wide, the box is remarkably flat for all the things it has inside it.

This is perfect if you're looking to buy everything you need in one place and don't know where to start. I've since replaced everything here with my own custom set, but this got me through my first campaign with zero problems. Worked well for the Mines of Phandelver campaign.

This is a neat little starter set that has a little of everything you may need. Pros: a set of dice. (mine are ugly green.) A customizeable gm screen. A very nice sized dual sided map. Box with useable maps inside and out. (Make of them what you will.) Alot of counters! Several monster classes (undead, humanoid, giant ect.) seven of each and numbered. Cons: Though the gm screen is sturdy, the insert films seem flimsy which leads me to believe that other reviewers are right about the films ripping when inserting standard sheets. However the sample sheets (5th ed.?) that came with the set are standard size and fit nicely, but they are glossy. The chr. counters, though useable, only include one of each chr. class. The environment counters aren't to scale...so I have a table and six chairs that is tiny and some bags of flour that are huge compared to the table. Nothing that can't be overcome. One final nitpick...the set comes with a red and black dry erase marker, my red ones top was off and its dry. Oh and I got ugly green dice! Overall nice purchase and would easily recommend to others.

It’s a decent sized cardboard battle map, that’s easy to set up. Comes with red and black expo markers and a set of dice. The dm screen also comes with 4 cheat sheets and plastic sleeves to put them in, makes it perfect for notes as well. I used it for a large combat and it helped the players visualize what was going on. It’s also 22x26 so it allows for tons of movement and any shape you want to draw on it. The cardboard doesn’t feel cheap and the pop out monsters that it comes with don’t feel cheap either. All in all a great purchase for any gm.

Wish it had better enemy tokens, but it do be what it be. Equity is preety good and none of the cardboard pieces ripped upon removal.
