This unit mounts with two retaining screws, and then has 2 plugs to attach.After troubleshooting my bike per the Harley Factory Electrical Manual, I determined that the voltage regulator was at fault in a no-charge output situation.I ordered one of these, put it on, and still had the no-charge output situation. I called the seller, and they stated the return window had closed on the day I received the part. Thinking perhaps I had made a mistake, I went back through the Harley troubleshooting guide in the manual, and confirmed once again that the alternator output was getting to the voltage regulator, but there was no output coming out of the regulator, to power the bike's electrics and battery.There was also a supposed 1 year warranty on this item, but the vendor has been unresponsive, and does not return calls or emails.Needless to say, I will NOT be dealing with these people again, whether for electrical parts, or any other motorcycle part I might need. Their product quality is un-useable, and they do not stand behind their products at all.

Looks exactly like and performs exactly like OEM Harley. Harley probably buys these and put their ridiculous price tag on them.

Bolted right up to my 2012 FLHTC. Also solved an intermittent issue I was having with the lighting on the console. No more loss of Speedo backlight and turn signal indicators.
