Water Filter System,1/4 in,0.5 gpm, Old Version

This filter system was very easy to install and the water it produces is clean and it tasts great.I didn't use the faucet and I ran it into the back of my refrigerator for ice and drinking water instead. It works great with a pretty good volumn of water produced and it will fill up a glass in under 30 seconds.Overall I'm very satisfied and I'd buy it again.

Excellent filter. Replacement cartridges readily available and easily changed.The flow rate is a little slow but I think that just means it's doing it's job of properly filtering the water. I'm suspicious of filters that let the water run right through like those pitcher filters. I keep a two-liter glass juice bottle on the counter next to it, fill the bottle as necessary and dispense the filtered water from that.

The water tasts great, the flow out of it is slow but over all it is a good deal. The install was easy as well.

This is a great unit to keep your water tasting and smelling good. Get rid of that strong chlorine taste in municipal water supplies.

The water quality is pretty good. The quality of the quick connect system of tubing is adequate and does not leak. The quality of the visible faucet is OK. I want to like this system.However I hate it. The issue is the terrible flow rate. At times the filtered water just barely does more than trickle out the faucet. And my water pressure is great, as evidenced by the powerful flow from my sink faucet that uses the same cold water supply hose. It literally takes 47 seconds to fill a regular sized ceramic coffee mug. Literally. I actually timed it with my watch to give everyone an accurate assessment. It may not sound like a long time, but stand there and count 47 Mississippi every time you want a drink of water and pretty soon, you'll be upset with yourself for buying this. I end up using it very rarely, as a backup if my handheld filter system runs dry while entertaining guests. What a waste of money and time to install.
