iPhone “must have” on older phones.
This is required if using on older iPhone and works great. Now that new iPhones have changed to C-Type charging this may be a short term use. Worth the money and works well when needed. Very compact and non-intrusive. The value is there at this price.

The adapter works perfectly with my DJI Mic Mini, but it’s frustrating that I had to pay an extra $19 for something that feels essential. Since so many people use iPhones, this really should be included in the bundle. Great quality, but disappointing that it's a separate purchase.

Must buy if you have an iPhone!
I use this all the time for my IOS phone when I record vlogs, it works perfect and fits nicely!

Allows connection of DJI mic mini RX to an iPhone equipped with the lightning connector.
I have the DJI mic mini (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) and this is not included in that kit (the usb-c adapter is). You need this if you have an iPhone /iPad with the lightning connector and want to connect the RX directly to the phone. Audio is better when connecting with this adapter than connecting via Bluetooth.
