Fragile and not very effective
The foam is very fragile and breaks off easily. Didn't have any effect on road noise from the rear of my car and awful to try to remove

Useful for sound deadening
Bought this to reduce humming noise coming from air pump. Easy to apply and sticky enough to stay in place. I gave three stars as it's not 20mm thick (15mm) and the backing paper is awkward to remove as it tears into small pieces rather than peeling off as one piece which is what you would expect.
