When I saw this item I immediately thought, "I need this!" I didn't know I needed this, but I totally did. Most normal people would say, "it's great for storing food, like nuts, and cookies, and candy"....But for me, it was "this would be great to store my cat treats!" So, yes, that is what I got it for. I have a lot of cats and they don't all get the same treats because some have allergies, no teeth, or just are picky. So I had a little box on a shelf in my kitchen that had 5 containers of treats that I give them daily. It was not very visually appealing the way I had it set up, but it was necessary for us. This little spinning container set has been a game changer. I filled up each container with different treats and put them back on the shelf. It looks SO NICE now! I can easily see which treats are which and can access them all with no difficulty. The other thing I like is that they are airtight. The containers I was using did not seem to be airtight and the softer treats would go a little stale over time. These containers seal really well. Sometimes they are difficult to open and you have to pull the little plastic piece up to allow air in to open them. No more stale treats. I also don't have to worry about the cats knocking them over and getting them open, they definitely can't get them out of the base and even if they did, the containers are not going to fall open.

This storage system has a lot of potential.I could see it in a kitchen, craft-room, garage, office, closet, or anywhere small stuff needs sorting and storing.The system itself is a lazy-Susan style tray topped with six airtight containers.Each wedge shaped container fits neatly into the spinning tray the same way, with their air vent in the middle and lid handle on the outside.Opening and closing the containers is a bit different and the design will probably not work for small children.The air vent/valve has to be pulled up to let air in before you can open each container.While I am using this system for small quantities of left over baking ingredients: nuts, seeds, chips, raisins, etc... I can see this having so many uses.Recommending this Chef's Path Spinning Container Set is easy because the design is so useful.The clear sides allow you to see what is in each container at a glance; the spinning tray expedites access to each one, and the airtight lids keep contents safe from staleness, bugs, spills, etc...This is a great storage system to pick up for yourself or as a gift.
