I couldn’t be happier with the Donner DDP-400 Digital Piano! As someone new to piano, I was looking for something that felt and sounded close to an acoustic piano without the bulk and expense—and this model delivered perfectly. The fully weighted 88 keys are incredibly responsive and give a very realistic playing experience, which has been so helpful as I’m learning technique and finger strength. What really surprised me, though, is how much my baby loves playing on it too! The touch response is gentle enough that even small fingers can make beautiful sounds, and it's become a fun, daily bonding activity for us. It’s amazing to watch my little one explore music in such an engaging way. The sound quality is rich and clear, and the piano itself looks sleek and elegant in our living room. It was easy to set up, and the built-in features are great without being overwhelming—perfect for a beginner like me who just wants to focus on learning and enjoying the music. Whether you're just starting your musical journey or looking for an instrument the whole family can enjoy, the DDP-400 is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

I first purchased the Donner DDP100 piano. I wasn't happy with the sound so I wanted to return it and get the upgraded Donner DPP 400. The problem was that I was going to out of town for 2 months so the 30 day return time wouldn't work for me. I contacted Donner through Amazon and told them my problem. They were unbelievably wonderful. They said that I just needed to notify them when I would be back and they would send me a return authorization. Last week I let them when I would be home. They were so responsive. they wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. They sent UPS over to pickup the DDP 100 and I received the DDP 400 from Amazon. As soon as it was received they refunded my purchase completely. Absolutely first class service! For an inexpensive digital piano, it plays very well. And looks beautiful. And the 400 sounds a lot better.

In November I decided to become a songwriter. This keyboard is bar-none one of the best purchases I've ever made. The weighted keys have perect feel and the portability is great. When I need to transport it I just wrap it in a thick quilt. All the conbections work, as does the 3-way pedal. I've had the time of my life playing it. It's enriched my life, opened my mind and greatly improved the flexibility and dexterity in both of my hands. It would be worth it for that alone. The sound quaility is frankly, beautiful. The inputs and outputs all work. You can even use the USB to play mp3 vocal tracks through the speakers so you can practice creating backups to existing songs. Hell, you can even just play music through the speakers if you want. They crank out great sound. The only downside for me was the stand. I'm 6ft tall and I just didn't fit under it. The dimensions were as advertised, so it's entirely on me for not planning appropriately. If I was 6 inches shorter it would probs have been fine. So I built my own standing piano station. The 3-pedal was easy enuff to saw out and screw into place. I bought a separate sustain pedal for when I take it with me for jam sessions. I really can't recommend this instrument enough. The only thing I'd do different is get the version without the stand.
