Screen was brand new, packaged well, and came with really helpful tools so I did not have to purchase more. Customer service was also on point when I needed to make an exchange.

I'm extremely disappointed with this battery's performance. Despite being installed by a certified Apple repairer, it fails to hold a charge. I regret not having it installed sooner, as I would have been eligible for a refund. I strongly advise against purchasing this battery, as it's utterly unreliable.

Worked well on my laptop, now my laptop can be used unplugged as the charge holds like it did, when it was new.

I am actually very impressed with this and how easy it was! I have had my Mac since it was released 5 years ago, and it went from great battery life to a lot less. I think it was down to like 78 percent max capacity. The instructions were very specific and clear, and they explained every single step from start to finish. They even showed images of every individual step as well. The hardest part of the installation was removing the old battery from the device because it was attached with a super strong adhesive. I made the mistake of using a small metal screwdriver that made the battery spark. It was terrifying, but didn’t do any damage, luckily. Once the installation was complete, I was seriously so relieved when it began powering back on. The first thing I did was go into settings to check the maximum capacity of the new battery. 100 percent! This kit is awesome and saves a LOT of money. This is about 1/5th the price of what they charge at the store. It really isn’t difficult to DIY. You basically need to know how to use a screwdriver. Definitely worth it.

I bought this replacement battery for my MacBook Pro A1708 (2017 model), and it’s been working flawlessly so far. Battery works well, and has restored my MacBook Pro to a healthy state. The installation process is not easy at all, but that is not the battery manufacture's fault, it's Apple's. Getting the old battery out is not for the faint of heart. My only complaint is that the instructions get a little vague at times. Overall, if you are brave and don't mind a challenge, then this kit can restore your battery life.
