I was so excited to receive my cotton rope bannetons. I've had the wicker ones for some time now, but I've wanted to experiment with the cotton ones to see if they have a noticeable impact on the hydration level during cold proofing. I love that these come with covers and also that they fold flat for storage. The size and fit is perfect for the average loaf of sourdough! The colors are very nice and would compliment any kitchen decor. They are sturdy enough not to collapse unless you want them to in order to store them. These are a good value for the money and would be a very nice gift for the baker in your life!

These work quite well! You can take off the cloth and clean and hand wash if needed. Work well in the fridge for fermentation retard. I’m noticing the dough does transfer a some wetness to the cloth which makes me wonder if that has any negative impact on the dough process. It does make flour get stuck to it somewhat which makes me think it should be washed frequently.

Amazing shaping and proofing baskets! The quality is top tier! They are beautifully made, comes with cotton liner and cotton cover with cute wording to make you smile and proud for it final stage. I place my dough cover it and place it in my fridge overnight. The shaping comes out exactly like it should. I can tell that they are durable and easy to clean. I usually don’t clean mine as much but I hand wash them and air dry the liners and basket.

These baskets are extremely well made, sturdy and come with linen liners and covers. I’ve only used them once so far but the bread turned out perfect. I highly recommend them to bread bakers.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about both these baskets and the seller! For a little backstory, I was gonna order a set of round + oval but, silly me, didn't check and accidentally chose the set of 2 round baskets. When I went to check back what I selected in my order, yup, there it was - a set of two round baskets. So I reached out to the store and asked if I could send them back and get a replacement with the set I was originally gonna buy, they suggested to do a return. I didn't want extra hustle, so I kept asking if we could just do the swap, to which the manager that I spoke with said they'd give me my money back and I could keep the product then order the right one. Since it was totally my bad, I insisted that I send back the first sent I received, asked for a shipping label and guidance as to how to return them (i never did any returns on here before), but in turn, she insisted that I keep them and told me they already refunded the amount. The interaction with the store was amazing and fast, though it still doesn't seem right to me that I kept one set virtually for free. Now the baskets, they are sturdy and keep the shape well. As you can see on the photo, that bread turned out nice and round, while before it would always grow sideways and flatten (unless i used a pan with sides). Also this one is 50% rye, and rye flour is much more difficult to stay in shape and crawls to the side a lot while rising. The liner inside the baskets is great quality as well - I only floured it once (generously) and, of course, forgot to add some coarse flour, such as rice or semolina, to keep it from sticking. My dough did not stick to the liner at all, with just a layer of all-purpose flour under it. Got out of the basket easy peasy, did not lose shape. (and, like I said, this one is rye - rye dough can get stickier than wheat). All in all, awesome product, awesome seller, awesome customer support! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! A+! Just awesome!

I absolutely love these KneadAce Cotton Rope Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set. They are beautifully with made cotton rope tightly woven together and comes with cotton liner and cotton cover. I proof my dough my fridge overnight and the shape comes out exactly like it should. They are very durable and easy to clean. I usually don’t clean mine as much but I hand wash the inner liner and cover and air dry them and basket. I highly recommend this banneton.

Easy to store, completely washable and perfect for 500g loaves.

These are a high quality item that make the bread making process more enjoyable. I use these to proof sourdough oval loaves in the fridge for 24 hours prior to baking. I appreciate the cotton rope construction that looks nice and allows moisture to leave the loaf during proofing. These also come with nice cloth covers to prevent the loaf from drying out. One thing to note is these are recommended for a loaf size that is max 800 g, which is fine for me, but you may want to keep looking if you want to make larger loaves. Definetly recommended.
