Review: Great shoes so far - These have been great shoes. I ordered the wide version. My feet are 2E to 3E wide, so i used a shoe stretcher and wore multiple layers of socks for stretches of time to stretch them in the right places. After that they have been great for lifting and daily wear in my beginning of my barefoot shoe journey. They also look great and i've gotten plenty of compliments. I also have the bare-xf pro. I haven't had any durability issues with the bare xf, but the pro are way more substantial and durable feeling. The fabric is thicker and the rubber is stiffer on sides and outsole. I put the boomerang insole in the pro to make it more comfortable. Review: The best of the barefoot experience - Have tried a few different brands of this type and to me these are the best by a distance. Love the fit, flexibility, and also the grip is the best (an area where another name-brand shoe failed big time). Even great on the treadmill and overall fantastic indoors and outdoors. After heavy use they are proving to be super durable as well. Highly recommended!

Excellent everyday use
I would say I have a pretty average toe box width. Been wearing everyday for about three months now. Just for everyday use and lifting. Occasional sprints. After about two months I started running 5k’s in them. After trying them out I prefer running in my altra’s (escalante). However just wearing these innov8’s around made it possible to switch from my hoka’s to my altra’s for all my runs now. In switching to zero drop shoes, I had to change my gate. I didn’t realize how badly I was landing on my heals with hoka’s and as a result I’m much faster now. Shaved about 6 mins off my total 5k time. I can’t even consider going back to regular toed shoes. Shoes I used to love have become foot prisons. So 1 star because these shoes have ruined all traditional shoes for me, jk. Seriously glad I made the switch. Much easier said than done. Just make sure you look up proper running technique if you’re considering switching as well.

almost perfect
fit is 100% true to size -stable and flexible, a true minimal feel without being cheap -fantastic traction without being sticky, you really feel connected to the modern gym floor the only downside is that the laces 'can' be temperamental, but not enough to where i feel the need to change them for zip laces , but if i had to i would and still be more than happy with them

Another great pair of shoes from INOV8
This is my 2nd pair of INOV8 barefoot training shoes and they are just as good as my first pair (which I still use, just for dirtier tasks now). When wearing them, the connection I have to the ground feels natural, the soles grip very well, the shoe holds to my feet when I move in them (minimal slipping; more like a second skin), and there's good space in the toe box. My exercise in these is walking/light hiking and these feel great. My first pair has lasted me about 6 yrs and they show little sign of wearing-out past the point of use. Based on my experiences, I recommend INOV8 shoes.

GREAT Improvement Over the Out-Going Version!
If you loved the old Merrell barefoot shoes, you will like these (though modernized). These are much improved over the previous version INOV-8 [210]. The toe box is more ergonomic for barefoot shoe users, similar to the old Merrell barefoot shoes (although these are a little more spacious than those). That means the entire shoe will fit most feet better and you can zone-in your size better. Use INO-8's size chart and order accordingly - sizing seems accurate to their chart. The sole insert is great: it is thin enough for the barefoot feel, but thick enough and cushioned enough of material that you can run in these or wear them around with better ease casually. Really enjoying these and am actually thinking about picking up a second pair just in case someone at INOV-8 decides to change the next iteration in a negative way. By the way, my use is weight lifting, crossfit and light/short runs.

Fell apart
Shoes fell apart in 6 months and Seller refuses to honor manufacturers 1 year warranty.

Lasted Only 8 Months
Fit was pretty good, stitching was good. The sole wore out and was not capable of lasting a full year of training. For context: these were not my daily drivers. I only wore these while exercising (walking, running, lifting, rucking on pavement).

It's my 4th paid of these or equivalent. I use them every day for weightlifting, running, etc. They are very light and durable, considering the abuse I put them through. Usually, the toebox goes before everything else, but they typically last 2-3 years of daily abuse. I don't know many sneakers that hold this long. Do not buy if you're not use to barefoot shoes and/or sure that this is for you. It takes a while to get used to it, but as far as barefoot shoes go, these are among the best.
