I bought this to replace a handheld one that you have to squeeze and dragged across the bags to seal. It seals better than I thought that it would and it gets really hot. Level one or two has worked well for me. It’s great to use at work, which is what I bought it for. This is not a replacement for your full size sealer that you may have at home. But camping or other travel this will be great as it is rechargeable.

This is great for those small individual size potato chip bags seals quick and tight. The battery last a long time. Easy to use.

This sealer was purchased this summer and worked as expected, I would introduce it to others.

Pro—Larger surface area for the heating element. Seals better than the smaller sealers, so it's a better option in that regards.—I like that you get options for different level of heating to coincide with the item that needs sealing.—The light indicator on top of the device makes it easy to use.—Does a good job of sealing different types of plastic bags, even the thicker mylar potato chips bags.—I like that it’s rechargeable. It comes with the cable and no charging block, but the usb-b fits into other charging blocks I have from older phones, etc, so not a biggie. No more rummaging through boxes of random junk in hopes of finding the correct battery size or stripping the remote controls of its juice-giver only to lament my poor decision later on.—A single charge seems to last a good time. I charged it fully before I started using, and so far it has lasted a few sealings. I haven't needed to recharge.—Comes with extra silicone heating element strip replacements (2).—Fairly easy to use: Hold power button for 2 sec to turn on—wait for green indicator light. Keep pushing the button to increase/decrease power/heat level to match the material to be sealed. 1-2-3-4-5 with 1 for thinnest and 5 for thickest.harge.—A single charge lasts a good while. I was able to use it for a week with occassional sealing with a single charge.Con—Awkward to use—aligning the plastic and making sure air is removed from the bag before sealing the plastic takes a bit of getting used to.—Not sure how long it’ll last. Even though it comes with 2 extra teflon tape strips, I’m not sure when I’m suppose to replace it and how often. I’ve only had it for a week, so I’ll have to update to report back on its longevity.—Not sure if it’s any better than using a chip clip. A chip clip might be handier on things you’ll be accessing more frequently. It’s great if you want to seal that Costco size bag of potato chips, so you’re not tempted to eat the entire bag in one sitting and condemn yourself to contempt and self-loathing.—One disadvantage this device has is that with the small handheld tool, I was able to resize ziploc bags to different sizes depending on my need at the time. Since this device hinges on one side, you're limited to how much material you can feed into it before sealing.—It's also top-heavy so you can't leave it in an open position or it'll topple over.I recommend that after you turn off the device and let it cool, you clean off the melted plastic before using again for better seal.

This is the best little thing ever! We're always opening snack bags to munch a bit and never finish an entire bag. I don't use clips or rubber bands. I just fold it away and I've always wanted to use an actual heat sealer to close them back up. This is small enough to store anywhere on a shelf or desk. It heats up almost instantly and can be used right away. It takes about a second to seal the bag and does a great job balancing the heat and not burning the bag. Seal is tightly secured. I'm not sure what the different gears are for - I just always put it to whatever and it works fine. Best of all, this is USB-C rechargeable!
