TP-Link X10 Dual Band Mesh network is excellent. Setup was a breeze with their mobile app. It is covering all the corners of the house without any connection issues. In fact there is signal in the car park too. I would recommend friends and family to order this mesh setup without any hesitation. Editing the review after 4 months of usage: This product is excellent. Working well so far. No connection issues. Connects to each other (other Decos) instantly after rebooting. Speed is good. Coverage is excellent. Value for money.

Deco routers cannot be configured over LAN or wifi using a simple web ui. You NEED to have an app and you NEED to have a tp link account attached to your wifi router ALL THE TIME. Assume all the traffic will be linked to your account and monitored. This is a big security risk.

Very happy with this purchase, my BSNL modem router combo have poor signal strength and is only single band. Tp link mesh system resolved all the issues, now all my home devices get quality network connection. The only cons are not having the ability to set wifi control access and occasional disconnection(however it also could be a fault at bsnl end ).

This was a replacement for an older Asus AIMesh 2-router setup where one node was consistently not working reliably—ethernet backhaul. I did not want to replace that one unit with another one from Asus while TP-Link Deco X10 was available for a lower price (pack of 3). Setting up one was simple but ensuring the second and third units were connected via ethernet backhaul vs. wifi was a bit more tricky. The ethernet cables were Cat 6e but one Deco was preferring to connect via wifi while the plug was connected. Since the cable was tested and was working as expected, had to resort to getting a TP-Link switch which for some reason, has solved the problem... ? The firmware was as up-to-date as could be. It's been a month and thus far, the range and connectivity have been good enough. It's not better than the AIMesh system but far more reliable and does not need constant rebooting or re-creating the mesh as was the case earlier. The only negative if anything is that the Deco units have 2 network ports. Could have been better to have one or two more for devices that will need connecting via ethernet and a USB port if connecting other peripherals like a storage or printer. Unsure whether locally, we have to worry about TP-Link security issues or bans. Given the poor availability of good SKUs in India, hoping not to be impacted.

My whole house which is 5 cent is been covered with this device .. even if I stand out also I can get the range. No slowness in speed . Signal strength is also strong even between walls . Slightly costly .

Very good performance ! We have three big rooms little 200 sq feet above. Centre room device is enough for 3rd room.

Single mesh router is more powerful than the typical roter given with my ISP. I haven't yet installed the 2nd router and am getting decent speeds across all rooms in 1500 sft, across concrete walls
