I gave it 3 stars, since I used this directly onto hardwood timber. And it totally ruined them. This paint is very weird, even on the first coat I came back to it the next day (dried in the sunny heat) and it was sticky to the touch. I could not understand why and 4 months on its still tacky till today. This means any dirt, grime or anything will stick to it easily. Trying to take off the paint is going to be a challenge so I had to sand it back down, prime it and use a normal outdoor rustins matt paint and its at least dried properly and no longer tacky/sticky to the touch. Who would have thought a £6 pot of paint would be more compatible and better then a dulex £30+ paint tub! I would recommend strongly testing it on the end or a small off cut piece of timber, it worked fine on soft wood (still test it!), but not hardwood at all for me.

Excellent paint. I use it for all sorts and never have any problems. It dries incredibly quickly and is lasting very well on items that are outdoors

I was very happy with this transaction. I struggled to find this product in DIY stores so was pleased to find it at a reasonable price on Amazon. It arrived very well packaged and super fast delivery. Product was easy to apply and gave good coverage. I was so pleased I decided to paint something else and ordered a second time.

I used this for my internal wood windows, as they get wet and cold. It’s thick, dries quickly and easy to apply. I do love a traditional oil based paint for wood windows, but, it may keep moisture in, but also stops any from getting out. This paint seems to be a good replacement, and as it’s water based, it’s easy to clean up after. I will also use on the outside when I get around to doing them in the summer.

Been disappointed over the last few years with dulux paint seeming to get thinner and thinner but this paint is brilliant. Such high opacity, great coverage and super fast dry time. Painted all my doors and windows with this and they look great. Will never but anything else...
