The great thing about this foundation is that it is matte (for real! no shine) and stays on. Seriously stays on. I clean my face with Murad's time release acne cleanser and cannot get it all off, no matter how long I cleaned my face. You must use toner. Every night I was so amazed at how much make up came off on my round cotton pads.I think this color would look really good on a younger and pale Asian person, that does not have sensitive skin and doesn't mind looking like they have make-up on in person. Camera wise, it doesn't look like the make-up is thick. Photographs well.Tip: get a beauty sponge, because you'll need it. It does not look good by applying it with your fingertips.Yeah, that was it for the good. It made me look like I have more wrinkles than I do. Even using Primer under it did not make it better. It broke me out badly after 2 days. For me, badly means I went from 0 acne to 10 very red blemishes in 5 days. 2 a day, and they weren't healing very well. When I stopped using it the acne began to visibly heal overnight.I am so white. Seriously white, with pink undertones. The soft shell looked orange when I put on enough to provide medium/full coverage. I had to put it on thin and really blend it into my hairline and down my neck for it to be passable. In Bare Minerals I ware Bare Porcelain, if that helps. I am going back to it.

I very much like the make-up, however, I chose a color that was a little too light. It makes me look sort of pale, and I already have a very light complexion. I wish I would have chosen something just a little darker. That's one of the problems with choosing a make-up color on-line. I probably should have gone to a department store and chosen my color and then, in the future, I would be able to order on-line knowing what shade suits my skin complexion a little better.

Beautiful coverage with this makeup! I literally use ONE drop for complete coverage. I'll get a lot of mileage out f this bottle. I have very dry skin and therefore hesitated trying this makeup. However, it goes on beautifully, stays on beautifully and is full of moisture. I love this makeup!

Perfectly matches my skin tone, light, easy to apply, and blends nicely. I am no makeup expect but I love this stuff. It does get a little cakey/streaky if you use too much but so do lots of foundations. If you can get matched first by a professional or Arden employee, it really helps.

I bought soft shell, is some pink tone, the foundation is matte, I have pores not too big, but this foundation make look the pores more big. Is not bad foundation, but maybe works better for very young skin. Not for me, I have mix skin, near 40's

Goes on smooth and flawless. Matches me perfectly. Never dry or flaky looking. This is my second bottle and won't be my last. It is light coverage for me and I use a wet kabuki to put it on.
