Great PLA filament – very reliable and easy to print with! 👍 I’ve been really impressed with the quality of this filament. It feeds smoothly through the printer and produces consistent prints with clean layers and good detail. I didn’t experience any clogging or tangling, and bed adhesion was excellent. The color is vibrant and the finished prints look great. It also seems very well wound on the spool, which makes printing long jobs worry-free. I’ve ordered and used multiple spools of filmaent from SUNLU and it has quickly become one of my go to filaments. The print quality is consistently excellent, always has smooth layers, strong adhesion, and I have noticed it has an improved strength compared to standard PLA. The filament is very consistent, I have experienced no clogs and no surprises. It feeds smoothly through the printer and prints cleanly even on longer jobs. Tthe results look great right off the build plate. Another big plus is how easy it is to work with. It prints at typical PLA temperatures, has minimal warping, and doesn’t require a heated enclosure. Bed adhesion is solid, and the finished prints have a nice surface finish with strong layer bonding. The spool is neatly wound, vacuum sealed, and arrives dry no tangles, no headaches. For the price, the quality is hard to beat. I really like this shade of pink as it isn't too bold, it's a nice subtle pink which is great for Easter decorations.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I have tried many different brands of filament and this one has not yet let me down, I have not yet had a failed print with Sunlu PLA Plus. It adheres to the bed well but not too well, it is neatly wound on the spool. The prints are accurate with little or no warping. The colour range is good and vibrant apart from the green which is a little insipid. What can I say, it ticks all the boxes. It isn't the cheapest filament but buying cheap doesn't often get you the best results. EDIT :- 28th June 2025. There has been one blemish on Sunlu's perfect record, one roll of filament was too thin and didn't feed properly. The filament is supposed to be 1.75mm but when I checked it this spool varied between 1.33 and 0.9mm. I sent it back. This was not a big problem because the fault was obvious and Amazon are good at returns if there is a problem. I am still going to use Sunlu PLA+ filament because almost all of the spools are good.

The filament quality is very good and prints come out smooth with nice consistency. I am happy with the overall performance.However, the spool was not properly wrapped, which made it a bit difficult to use at the beginning. It would be great if the packaging and winding were improved to avoid tangling.Overall, good filament quality, just needs better spool wrapping

I’ve been using SUNLU PLA filament for a while now, and I’m really impressed with its consistency and performance. Arrived quickly. Works very well in my Bambu Labs A1 Mini without any tweaking of settings. Good price for ease of ordering. Will be ordering again.

I always use SUNLU filament over all others and this roll was no exception. I find it gives consistent quality prints with no tangles and no blockages.

It is okay but I can't use it for prints with a lot of details

Great quality filament at a good valueI’ve gone through quite a few spools of PLA from different brands, and SUNLU has been one of the more reliable ones for me. First thing I noticed was the shipping—it arrived quickly and was well packaged, no issues with moisture or damage out of the box. The color options are also great. I’ve tried a few different ones now, and they’ve all looked clean and consistent once printed. Performance-wise, this filament has been better than some of the other brands I’ve used in the same price range. It feeds smoothly, sticks well to the bed, and I’ve had very few issues with tangling or clogs. Prints come out consistent with nice surface quality, which saves time on post-processing. I’ve used it for a mix of functional parts and simple models, and it’s held up well across the board. Settings didn’t require much tweaking either—it just worked with my usual PLA profiles. Overall, really solid filament for the price. If you’re looking for something dependable without spending a premium, this has been a great option in my experience.

I've been mostly using this colour to print out Heroquest furniture, because it has a similar chocolatey colour to the original. Doesn't seem to handle overhang as well as the other PLA+ I've used (Creality PLA+ Black) as you can see from my Benchy boat test, but I was able to get a better result with some temp adjustments. I recommend a 205⁰ nozzle to reduce overhang and a 60⁰ heated plate to prevent base-warping. I ran my first few prints on 45⁰ plate, as is standard with my generic PLA preset on my printer but minor warping occured. 60⁰ held the base firmly in place.
