Why didn't I order it sooner?
I had been having trouble with my old modem, but could still get it to work. Until I couldn't. Then I was without internet. Can't have that! So, I figured that I would just hook up a 2Wire modem that a friend had given me. The only problem was that it didn't have a power cord. AT&T told me to go to Best Buy, and they would have one. Well, after trying seven different places locally, it was clear that no one had it. It seems that this power supply cord is unique and very specific. So I ordered it, got it sooner than promised, and it works great. Not much to say about a power supply cord except you want it to work when you need it to. This one does. Oh - one thing - it has a very bright blue light on it. Lights up the whole room at night. Don't use it in the bedroom. You'll never get any sleep. Seriously, why would they design it that way? Tape fixed it though.

Not the same product as shown in picture
Not the same product as shown in the picture. the one in the picture looks like it's much better quality. What I got was a knockoff of an adapter. I am unsure if I want to try it.

This power supply works great.
Works as advertised and is better than replacing a capacitor on the original power supply which you have to break open. When the original power supply goes bad, the 2Wire AT&T modem starts blinking red and green and never logs on to the Internet or is intermittent. This is a cheap and working fix. However, the label on the PS is misleading by stating 4-6Volt DC.

Made my 2WIre 2701HG-B modem work again. Stopped working after exactly 18 months. Very bright blue LED shows the electrical circuit is live, but it doesn't indicate that the modem is being properly powered. I am satisfied enough to buy another one to replace the first one that died, but from the comments it seems that 18 months is about all you expect from these things.

It works like a charm and a great price
The power cord for my 2Wire gateway stopped working, I called several ATT stores to find a replacement, no luck. Found this one on Amazon, got it the next day, problem solved. I told several friends that also have this 2Wire gateway. It works like a charm and a great price. We are very happy.

Working well
Working fine so far. The power supply has been the weakest part of my AT&T router, the type I've used for many years. An ATT installer/repairman told out me that very often a new power supply is all that is required to do the "repairs." He carries extras with him for this reason. I threw away a couple of routers in the past that may have just needed new power supplies. Now I have a back up.If this power supply dies prematurely I will write an update.

Works, but died after 20 months
Worked for my AT&T DSL modem for 20 months of 24/7 use, then died. Bought a second one only because I needed a replacement quickly, being dependent on internet to work from home. Otherwise, knowing that it is prone to failure after a time, I would've researched alternative hopefully longer-lasting options. I suppose you could think of it as a consumable that costs about $1 per month.
