Gorgeous fabric and cut. I ordered the size 2. I am 5'7" ≈ 170lbs. It fits beautifully. It is even long enough that it drapes on the ground a little. I am stunned by how gorgeous it is. Feels like silk against my skin. Very soft and the light blue is a wonderful shimmery tones.

The fabric in this garment is just lovely- and there s LOTS of it, lol! While the inside of the garment is solely black (so it is completely non-transparent) the exterior color is a deep ocean blue (their description is "foggy blue") . Personally, I generally prefer that most fabrics are the same on both sides, but this garment is functional the way it is designed, so that is not a negative, just a personal preference. I really love the designer texture of the fabric, it feels like a woven and 'brushed' 3-D tapestry. ("Brushed – A finishing process for knit or woven fabrics in which brushes or other abrading devices are used on a loosely constructed fabric to permit the fibers in the yarns to be raised to create a nap on fabrics or create a novelty surface texture.)" The entire dress is very lightweight, especially considering just how many yards went into this construction of it. That said, the fabric is delicate. It is NOT as delicate as muslin or silk, but you will certainly want to be careful to avoid snags or the wear and tear of daily living. As another reviewer noted, the neck-hole is a tight fit- if you just had your hair styled, or you are lucky enough to have a great deal of thick hair, this may present a problem. Ditto with the sleeves. This was made for a taller person than I am, so I will have the hem shortened and use the excess fabric to construct a matching handbag. In Summary- the color and fabric detailing are beautiful, the design is appropriate (except for the sizing of the neck and arm holes) and functions as advertised. The day I wore this was a mid-range Spring Day- the fabric breathed sufficiently and was comfortable.
