Doesn't really work and the mechanism is bad
i cant understand how a product this common can not work. It sprayed for a while and then stopped, had to open it and wiggle things a bit to get it 'firing' again. It then seemed ok and eventually ran out..when I picked it up it leaked fluid everywhere and seems to have been half firing inside its housing despite being aligned in the only way possible. on top of that, it didn't really kill anything. Avoid.

Very easy to use product
The product itself worked fine and was easy to set up what I am unsure about is the effectiveness of the spry itself. We recently returned to the UK from living in New Zealand we used a similar product from a well-known brand, but the pyrethrin ingredient seemed much stronger and worked very fast and knock them down once an insect entered the house.

Gets rid of cluster flies in the loft
I see this product has received many poor reviews but it certainly worked to get rid of cluster flies in my loft .As anyone who has had these pests knows they are a nightmare to get rid of —- Once they inhabit your loft even if you eradicate them with a smoke bomb they return again each year . I’ve had them for about 7 successive years —— they enter the loft late summer ( no point trying to seal up gaps — they get through the tiniest of spaces ) and hibernate for the winter and go back outside in Spring . Now if you never had to go up in the loft they wouldn’t be a huge problem but if you have a job up there and turn on light you wake them up and soon they are flying around your head —- horrible . Also even if you don’t go up if there are any downlighters in the upstairs ceiling or gaps in the hatch the cluster flies are attracted to the light and make their way into the upstairs rooms. I’ve tried ultrasonic devices —- don’t work . Smoke bombs kill them but create a scene from a horror movie where hundreds of dying flies make their way into upstairs rooms . So without much optimism I tried the Zero In fly dispensers —- put 2 in the loft early August before the flies start coming in—-ie to create a hostile environment ! Was getting a small number of flies when I went up loft October but in December when we went up loft for the Christmas bits and had the lights on for about an hour —- no flies —- a fantastic relief . I reckon the secret is to put the devices in early before they come in to hibernate , I am going to do the same next summer and fingers crossed if I break the cycle of their visits ( we live near open fields) hopefully they will buzz off annually somewhere else.

Maybe not
I am used to using similar products in South Africa. When I saw this product I was so happy and bought immediately. When the product arrived I was happy to open it and set it up. I was happy with all the features it had including the ability to only operate in the day time. It looks like they implement a LDR (light dependent resistor) for this. So I set it up and left it. The next day I heard it go off and then it went multiple times in quick succession. So I took the battery out and thought that will reset it and try again only to find that it would just go into a rapid fire state at any given moment. So the canister did not last half as long as it should of and I could most nights hear it going off at random times in the night. So I guess the day only mode did not work either.

Brilliant
I’ve ordered two of these, one for upstairs and another for downstairs. I’ve got fine little ants all over the house and I can’t find the nest. They’re brilliant and very efficient one you set the timer on it, I’d most definitely recommend it. I haven’t seen one single ant or other creepy crawly since I bought them
