Normal fans give gusts of wind, and for same air volume at 4,5 heavy noise. This fan at 4 is like standing in an airy window - Strong steady wind. 3) Now coming to Noise (a) It's not that there is no sound, there IS sound. But much LESSER than normal fan for same air volume. (b) the sound is low STEADY HUM almost continuous, normal fan go phat-phat-phat.
