Way better than Whey, it's Egg-cellent!
After having gastric bypass surgery 18 years ago, I was told I had to drink 100 g of protein everyday. However, after 21 corrective surgeries, countless attempts at finding whey protein, whey protein isolates, or any other easily attainable source of protein, I gave up. It was not easy for me to digest, in fact they all made me sick. I thought it was due to all my surgeries. That was until I had found optimum nutrition egg protein. I loved that brand, but they no longer produce the egg protein, and it was incredibly expensive. Now, at age 38, I have just had food allergy testing done by a physician who is also an allergist. It turns out that I have actually been sensitive or allergic to whey all this time. With that plus other allergies in mind, I went back on a hunt for egg protein. Most are absolutely terrible! They either do not blend well, have a terrible aftertaste, or are outrageously expensive. Finally, I came across this brand. I started with the vanilla, because you can always add spinach or other things to it if it is halfway palatable. I was beyond surprised at how good it tasted, how well it dissolved in just water with a shaker bottle, what a value it was, and how well my stomach tolerated it. I started a subscription to the vanilla immediately. A few months later, I actually looked to see if there were other flavors, not because I was sick of vanilla but because I wanted to supplement for lunches as well. Thank the Lord, my egg protein comes in chocolate flavor! Boy, I was nervous waiting for it. I thought it would be too good to be true that chocolate would be as good as vanilla, but it really happened! So, I now have auto delivery on chocolate and vanilla egg protein. I actually can add a scoop of collagen to either of them and they still blend well with just water, or I use a Nutra Bullet to add some fruits and veggies when meal replacing. Buy it. Buy more than you think you will use, because your children will like it, your husband will like it, your co-workers will think it is a great substitute for coffee creamer, or you will find ways to bake with it. I'm telling you there's no better option on the market for people with food sensitivities. I am not able to eat chicken, but egg does not register on my sensitive or allergen list. Sometimes if real egg is in a meal, I can have a flare. However, that never happens with this protein. Honestly, I am down almost 40 lb and I really don't know how I could get my protein in without it. Before finding this, I was malnourished. I had to have iron infusions, my hair was falling out, my nails were weak and brittle, I had very little energy, and food was a source of stress and anxiety for me. Now, not only do I have new hair coming in, new eyebrow hair coming in, stronger and longer nails, more energy, but I also am losing weight because my body is no longer in starvation mode. Buy it. Trust me. If you don't like it, message me and I will give you my address to ship it to. Designer Protein, thank you for giving my health and life back. If you need a spokesperson, I'm your girl.

I've been using this protein on my Keto diet!
This has been my go-to protein of choice I discovered by accident once in a Target (along with the Multi-Collagen protein). I mix the collagen and the egg protein together and I usually get the chocolate dutch flavor. I also have some other dark chocolate flavored MCT and Ketone powders I'll mix it with before hitting the gym. Whey protein was too much on my stomach and honestly made me puke or have severe stomach upsets upon drinking one. Since this is egg protein and egg product my body can handle this much easier as I am sensitive to certain foods. A game changer for me and my fitness journey and definitely worth the price you pay for it. Pros: + Easy on the stomach if your body digest eggs well. + Good flavor! Mix it with almond/cashew milk for a real chocolate milky taste. + Reasonable price compared to high-end Whey proteins or other protein alternatives. + Ingredients are simple, easy to read and you don't need to google 1 million things to understand what this protein does for you. Cons: - Clumps in hot water if you plan to make a "Hot cocoa" or hot drink out of it and pretty much legit looks like a cooked egg in a cup. - Clumps in general cold water on top of the cup. You can fix this con however with a milk frother or a shaker cup. I use a milk frother and it comes out smooth afterward with little to no clumps! - Hard to find in some local stores (at least for me). But that's ok because Amazon has it! - Can taste kind of bland-ish in water only if you don't have any creamer, milk or other additives to it. But tastes good enough to still drink in water; just less flavorful. Forever a staple in my diet this stuff will be. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a dairy and egg sensitivity since it is so easy on the gut. I love it!

Finally, an egg based protein
This is a great alternative to your normal whey, protein or plant-based protein. Eggs are complete protein source, and it’s a great option for those who can’t tolerate lactose. This product mixes well, tastes great, and is reasonably priced. I’ve started to pair this with a creatine product from Fasted Athlete, and I’ve found that I’m putting on more muscle and feeling stronger. These guys put out a quality product with only a few ingredients, which I love.

honest review
I’m so grateful to have found an egg-based protein powder (much more bioavailable and better absorbed than plant protein) and no inflammation as compared to whey protein, tastes very good not amazing but good and very palatable no raw egg taste, but has a slight raw egg white scent which is slightly a turn off but thankfully not strong enough to be repulsive (only if you truly dig in and smell other than that very tolerable, however if you add a banana and substitute plain milk for chocolate dairy or chocolate almond milk then it would be divine, contacted designer protein website directly they say the egg is not cooked but definitely pasteurized but they absolutely do not recommend to pregnant woman and ask you to speak to a doctor no matter your health, wish they were usda organic certified, and cooked the egg and didn’t use sunflower lecithin maybe an alternative to it (which is a known inflammatory marker and worsens leaky gut syndrome). Dr gundry says eggs are really good for your health & metabolism. The two downsides are that it does have a slight raw egg smell And it will make your pass gas frequently and it will make your flatulence smell really bad
