Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years Captain America: Civil War Captain America and Crossbones

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to shine and as it completes its 10th anniversary while Hasbro finds it more than appropriate to release action figures of its various films. Captain America’s epic second sequel released a plethora of action figures but this set is definitely welcome if not an outright improvement. Starting this set-off is a brand-new action figure, Crossbones. In Captain America, The Winter Soldier viewers were introduced to Brock Rumlow, a strong and apparently loyal member of SHIELD’s commando unit known as STRIKE. But he was secretly a member of HYDRA as he went toe to toe with Captain America and his allies Black Widow and Falcon. But he was beaten badly only to return heavily scarred as the villain known as Crossbones still doing his part for HYDRA in Captain America Civil War by stealing a deadly weapon in the films opening action sequence. This figure looks great resembling Frank Grillo in his outfit in Civil War, standing just over 6.00 inches tall with twin gauntlets that are attached to the figure as well as a tight-fitting chest piece and the same Marvel Legends articulation but that is slightly hindered by the chest piece. I have tried removing the components, but it is too difficult. Included also an alternate head so you can show him masked or unmasked. Ending this set is Captain America as this is clearly an upgrade to the previous figures in this line as the texture of the suit is more detailed as well as the mask actually being more of a mask, but there is something off about it. It looks like they made a detailed head of Cap without hair to attach a mask on it, but it does not line up perfectly with a part of the mask blocking one of the eyes. The figure still looks great, standing just under 6.50 inches tall and the same great Marvel Legends articulation as it looks whenever Cap suits up as well as some nice accessories. While this figure often has an alternate head resembling Steve Rogers, this one actually does look like Chris Evans. Along with a nicer-looking shield, this is a much-appreciated upgrade. A great set!

This is the Captain America figure I have been waiting for. His unmasked head sculpt was the motivating factor for me to pick up this set. This is a brand new head sculpt and a great likeness for Chris Evans. It is on par with the GOTG Vol 2 figures in likeness such as the original Chris Pratt / Star Lord release. I believe the masked version is a reissue, but the likeness is still very good. Correction: The Masked Head is also a new sculpt and far better IMO than the original. The helmet is treated as a separate sculpted piece that is mounted on. Both heads are truly great. The Crossbones sculpts and figure are very solid and a cool addition. This is a cool figure to add to the lineup, it was just nowhere near as critical of a get for me as a great Chris Evans Cap. I will update with images as I get a chance, but please be confident that you are getting a great addition to the MCU lineup. Especially when supplementing this with previous releases to create your Stealth Suit Cap, WWII, Battle Damaged, etc...

The price is right for these. The figures and very detailed and alot of movable parts! Great for showcasing and playing with. BUY THESE NOW!

To be honest, its my first time I got a Marvel Legends figure since I usually buy SH Figurarts, but since their release of a dissapointing Captain America, I've been finding for alternatives and happen to come across this. Wait and behold I couldn't be more happier with this purchase as the head paint is superb and gives me the chills as if minature Chris Evans was there. Another great addition is Crossbones as I initially wasn't looking forward to him, but wait and behold he was superb that I just had to place him next to Solid Snake. If you're finding either a 6 inch Captain America or Crossbones, this is the one to get.

Best MCU Captain ever. Crossbones is good to. Very well. İf you searching for mcu cap buy it. İf you collect Marvel legends buy it. Price is really good i think. ( İ bought for 27 USD + Shipping)

Pretty cool offering here, especially dig the crossbones figure though he has a bit of a loose right knee. Cap has an issue as well more a long his face on the masked head, the mask seems to be covering his left eyebrow. Overall this is a really solid offering from hasbro and i'd think i'd recommend this at a good price of course.

While the Captain America figure is a reissue, both heads look to be new sculpts and huge improvement from any of the previous MCU Cap heads. Also the shield looks to be new. Both of Crossbones heads look great and paint apps look clean. Definitely worth picking up the set even if the Cap is a reissue, the new parts make it work it.

i really got this mostly for Crossbones and he is awesome, they are very articulate too, only problem i have is captain america’s shield doesn’t stay on when you’re moving him, but other than that they are great

Empaque. De celebración, en el interior tiene una especie de fondo de cartón con impresiones que Marvel Estudios usa como intro para sus películas. Buen detalle para los fans, refuerzan el concepto de 10 años de los estudios. Materiales. Los tradicionales para este tipo de figuras, un plástico no demasiado rígido. Escultura y pintura. Muy precisa. Realmente es el rostro de Chris Evans. En el caso de Crossbones, se muestran las heridas de batalla de SOLDADO DEL INVIERNO. Como les comento, es un trabajo muy preciso, la pintura esta bien aplicada, los ojos estan pintados donde deben estar. No me toco una pieza con miradas perdidas o con ojos cruzados (jajaja). Posabilidad y articulación. Tiene muy buen nivel de posabilidad. Y la figura se sostiene sola en varias posiciones. eso es bueno, pero se agradecería bases para asegurar que no se caigan. Las articulaciones son firmes, conservan la pose, no se vencen por su propio peso. Accesorios. Algo que caracteriza a las películas Marvel, es que no necesariamente se mantiene una identidad secreta. Por lo que las máscaras se pierden o se la quitan constantemente, me imagino que para dar vista al rostro del actor. Así que las figuras incluyen cabezas sin las máscaras. También, muy bien hechas en escultura y pintura. Se colocan con cierta facilidad. Pero yo prefiero dejar las cabezas con máscaras. Tenía en la mira la figura del Capitán América de S.H. Figuart. pero por precio, elegí a esta figura de Hasbro, y no me arrepentí. Esta muy bien hecha y con orgullo formará parte de mi colección Marvel.

Este paquete es uno de los mejores que han sacado del 10 aniversario de Marvel Studios. La semejanza que presentan las figuras con los actores que los interpretan en pantalla es increíble. Cada vez va mejorando mucho más la calidad por parte de Hasbro, por lo que valen bastante la pena. Cada figura tiene 1 cabeza adicional intercambiable y múltiples articulaciones, por lo que es fácil colocarlas en diferentes posiciones. Sin duda alguna un artículo que no puede faltar en sus colecciones.
