Bemis 5000 Champagne Coloured Toilet seat

We were looking for a toilet seat for my Mothers recently installed wet room, we kept the original 16yr old champagne coloured toilet and wash basin (as in excellent condition). My Husband said in a certain light it was almost a pale green colour, and that we would not get a match. The previous reviews I had read from one lady in particular stated the same as my husband reference to the colour. Thank you so much for your reviews it is a perfect colour match, excellent quality, fantastic price and so easy to fit, and most importantly my 85yr old Mother is delighted with the new seat it completes her new wet room.Please take the time to review your purchases as it certainly helped us.

Our second purchase of this item. Both match our existing toilets and are warmer and sturdier to sit on than the originals. Fitting them is straightforward if a little fiddly. This latest one instructed us to tighten it until it snapped! We decided against being so drastic and stopped when it seemed firm rather than snapped. It is still firmly in place and we are happy with the product.

My bathroom fittings are over 30 years old and therefore old fashioned coloured. It’s been so difficult to find replacement toilet seats that don’t clash! One day I put ‘Champagne toilet seats’ and up these popped. I ordered one and was delighted, a perfect match. I ordered another one for my second toilet. They are sturdy, easy to clean and go perfectly with the bathroom furniture.

We were having real trouble matching colour to our current suite and took a plump on this based on other reviews. Boy are we happy with that decision. The colour is a perfect match and the quality is top notch. It's a good, solid seat with an equally solid cover. No worries about using it as a seat when closed (or let's face it, a stool sometimes to reach those top shelves). This thing is solid. Super easy to install and very tight fitting and solid. 5 stars from me and we'd buy this brand again when we need another one for any other toilet.

To confirm. This is not soft close. Good match to our bathroom suite. Easy to fit.

Very pleased with the colour and quality of this toilet seat. Unfortunately although very clearly labelled with my address it was delivered to the wrong address 3 streets away - and only reached me because the lady of the house went out of her way to be honest and carry it round having realised the package was not hers.The seat itself was well packaged and colour matched my champagne toilet extremely well. Easy to fit. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to replace and exact colour of the suite

I bought and fitted this for a friend who is very pleased with it.This seat has a certain practical design feature that many lack, namely that all the fixings are made of plastic and nylon rather than steel. The problem with steel fittings that are on so many other seats is that it is easily jarred loose be the impact of people sitting on it, and even of lifting the seat and lid. People not so stable, such as the elderly and disabled, may have a tendency of putting more of their weight on the lid as they lift it up, thereby causing a side-ways motion that would also loosen steel fittings. Metallic fittings are also prone to breakdown and discolouration due to being cleaned by assorted bathroom chemicals. NOT SO WITH THIS SEAT, which has plastic and nylon fittings, far better than steel for absorbing knocks and vibrations. There is also much more friction between the plastic thread and nylon nut, which assures it stays tight and stable. There is also sufficient friction between the seat, cover, and fittings to ensure the seat does not slam down.
