Nice, easy, but just know…
This was a really easy set up. It was mostly done before you even took it out of the box, though now that I have it set up I kind of wish I would’ve went with a 5 gallon tank at least rather than going with a 3.7 gallon but this is a good size for small spaces. So far everything seems to work just fine. However, the problem I had was thinking that I lost my Betta fish only find that he was in the filter box that sits in the back right of the tank. Not quite sure how he got there, he could’ve got on the plants and flipped his way in. I don’t know, but it was a little worrisome to think he could get in there and possibly get hurt though I don’t know if he can. They should have some other type of cover on the top of that that will allow things to filter in, but so a fish cannot get inside

Difficult to work with but nice once it's set up.
The tank is good and everything works like it should. But, there are a few things to be aware of. #1. You can only access 1/2 of the top of the tank. This makes cleaning and trying to do anything in the back nearly impossible! #2. If you want to keep shrimp in here be careful. Mine kept getting into the filter inlet box the adults were fine but I worried about any babies getting sucked up. #3. The water flow valve adjuster is very loose and easily gets knocked off. #4. Trying to get the pump out to clean or handle in any way is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT!

Great little tank
Great little tank! I love that it tells you the temperature. We keep betta fish who like the warmer water (despite the pet store keeping them in tiny little containers) so it' helpful to know what the water temp is. Super easy to set up. Great for beginners!

Water pump is not quiet.
Before buying a fish I filled the tank with water, plants, and correct rocks for the bottom. I did this so I could make sure it worked properly. It did work but below is what I think is important to know: 1. Well constructed. 2. Water pump was not quiet. Could be heard over the TV which is in the same room. 3. Could not detach the plastic tubing from the water pump so I could install the long plastic tube to empty the tank. It would not come off. I watched the video carefully before attempting this. 4. I am returning it.

Perfect Little Tank for the Family
I absolutely love this little fish tank, and the kids are obsessed with it too. It’s the perfect size, not too big or too small, and the setup was super easy. Watching the fish swim around brings a calm vibe to the room, and it’s just a lot of fun for everyone. It’s become a little centerpiece in the house, and I couldn’t be happier with it. If you’re thinking about getting a small tank, this one’s definitely a win for the whole family.

Been about a year now and still going strong! Perfect size for a half dozen ghost shrimp, filter and pump are a nice touch, adjustable speed, fairly silent, easy to clean, accurate temperature, overall a great for a little desk aquarium! I wish the light was on a timer, annoying to have to turn it on and off daily.

Great starter tank. Has everything needed to go from the box except a heater, which you can add yourself easily. Kids love it. Easy pump to remove water for cleaning is awesome. Digital display thermometer and cool light settings are great. Only drawback is it's smaller size severely restricts what fish can go in it, but it's smaller size and shape also allows for it to be placed nearly anywhere. Filter is quiet, and setup and maintenance are super easy. Looks great on my son's bedroom desk.

Nice looking and a sort of easy setup (although there is literally no information on how to open the filter box). I was worried I would break it as I did not know how it actually came apart. It works best for fish. I bought it for African Dwarf Frogs and it is not a great tank for them. The little frogs continually managed to get into the filter box, with one dying before I found him. They managed to sneak into the filter box through the hole that was on the top of the box (hole was part of the setup to allow you to adjust the air flow. The dial for the airflow does not work past a few adjustments. I love the hood/light feature and the fact that it has a thermometer although I am not sure how accurate it is. The filter box takes up a lot of room so in the end I do not think there is 3.7 gallons of room. I thought having the pump covered would save my little guys but in the end it did not. After spending money on this, I do not want to have to buy a new one. I plugged the hole as best as I could and hope that the sneaky little frogs don't figure out how to get in there again. One other thing - there are no specific filter replacements for it. I contacted the AQQA company and the only thing they said, is buy filter sponge and cut it to fit. Not a quick and easy way to change the filter. I would not purchase this one again due to the issues above. Its a cute tank and with only fish it would be okay if you don't mind sourcing out your own filter media.
