Great products all around, use these on every gas can I buy, toss the one the can came with and utilize these every time. Work amazing, seal well and no hassle, highly recommend.

As for a working replacement for a plastic fluid can, its fantastic. I needed it for my metal Jerry cans from Harbor Freight. For this application it initially SUCKED! But, then I remembered that the plastic jugs have an air vent opposite the spout. By placing a 3/16th hole between the screen and the base of the spout you add a nice carburetor to provide the necessary air-flow to make this work like a dream. If you're going to use this on the metal Harbor Freight jerry cans, make sure you get the Grey adaptor cap (sold seperately) by EZ-Pour.

These are awesome, I have them on all my gas cans. The flow rate is four times what the "safety" spouts do which is a huge benefit when you're pouring 5 gallons into a UTV, tractor or zero turn mower. They seal well enough to travel to and from the gas station with no leaks. My oldest pair is over 5 years old with no signs of breaking down.

I had to use the original black cap that came with the can in order to use the EZ-Pour spout, neither of the yellow caps worked with my Canadian tire bought gas cans. overall I have zero regrets, highly recommended.
